Celebrity Central Website Review: Halle Berry

Part of: Celebrity Central

At the request of Rpeyton, I visited The Official Site for Halle Berry. It is an incredible site for a fabulous actress. The site is visitor-friendly and is full of information and fun.

The colors and design are Hollywood glamorous. Halle leaves written and voice messages to fans. She provides charitable links as well as personal beauty tips. You can join her fan club at no cost or for a membership fee. The membership fee gets you a lot of extra goodies but the free membership is really nice too.

This site is like visiting Disneyland: it will take more than a day to fully enjoy everything it has to offer. There are contests with great prizes and current news on what Halle is doing. There is a TV listings so you can catch her on the small screen. She has professional and personal photos, including some of her pets. You can sign up for her newsletter to stay informed.

Halle's fans are affectionately called "Groovers." They get to know each other in Halle's chatroom on her Yahoo group. This site offers more than I have time to list!

Halle is obviously in the groove with her fans. She is a rare find in Hollywood. A lot of wealthy celebrities could learn a thing or two from Halle. I was thrilled to see a SASE isn't required for her autograph. She is clearly the real deal and deserving of fan devotion.

It's clear that Halle is as beautiful inside as she is on the outside. The love and respect she has for her work and her fans is clearly the motive behind this website. If I could offer an award to sites I visit, this site would receive the first one.

Hey Ruthie, neat column. I want a 'job' like yours ;) Yes, Hallehood is more than a blog, it's a no stress hangout for buds and a big party at every Halle ground breaking achievement-which happens pretty often these days :)

    Hi Ruthie,
I too just wanted to join the rest of the Groovers in thanking you for such a wonderful review on Hallewood.com. Its kind of been our "little Groover secret" like we have Halle all to ourselves. ;o) She is so generous to her fans its unbelievable, I know first hand, I won a contest to meet her and it was an experience of a lifetime, she went above and beyond anything I could have imagined and put her own personal touches on the experience and has always kept in touch and been a wonderful friend to have and acceptional person to know! Thanks again for your GREAT review!

    Hi Ruthie,
another Groover here, saying thanks for the great article about Hallewood.com. Like Derri, I've also had the opportunity of meeting Halle. And let me just say that she’s the most generous and kind hearted person I’ve ever met.

Hallewood.com isn’t just a fan club, we are one big family. The Jamaican motto says it best “Out Of Many, One People”.

Thanks again for your beautiful words.

I can certainly understand the appeal of a celeb website, it's just too bad not that many actually interact from time to time.

Mako and Pammy...thanks for stopping by and leaving such nice comments...mucho appreciated.
Halle has a great group of Groovers.

Matthew...I agree its rare that a celebrity will take the time to interact with fans...makes stars like Halle a rare and wonderful find.

    Yet another groover here! :-)
I don’t personally post a lot but I do keep tabs on what is happening and enjoy how close everyone seems to be and love it when Halle herself stops by.
    Your article was right on.
Halle is a beautiful person 1st with all of what that entails, a magnificently drop dead gorgeous woman 2nd and a very talented actress 3rd, not necessarily in that order. I am very privileged to be a member of her groover family and can appreciate anyone who pays Halle, Robin and this group the respect that you did.
Normally there would never be enough of Halle to spread around for everyone who loves her but the Hallewood site makes that somewhat possible.
Just happy to be a small part of it all!

Another "Groover" here. I post semi-frequently. You wrote a beatiful article. Everything you wrote is true, along with all the comments you have gotten in response. It is one of the best places (if not the best place) on the web to visit for young and old alike.

    Hello Miss Ruthie,

As you see we Groovers come from all over the world and share the love of Our Lady...Miss Halle Berry. I myself have not had the fortune to meet her "yet", But I did receive a phone call from Miss Halle 3 years ago. It's one of the most memrable 45 minute conversations of my life. She is real down to earth and so are we Groovers. Last year I drove through the South Eastern U.S. to meet 5 of the Groovers. We are truly a great bunch and all are welcome at Halle's site. Robin certainly does her best to keep us all informed. We will really be talking all the Halle Buzz when X3 comes out in may. Your article was beautiful. Thanks for all the kind words and positive vibes. I hope that I have the pleasure of meeting you one day too. And please remember, that whenever you are in Hallewood, you're always guaranteed to leave with a smile.

    Take care,
