A New Paradigm For Social Media: Storify Enters Public Beta - Page 3

This kind of ability from a piece of software is nothing short of a paradigm shift. It’s an important step in the development of social media. For the last number of years, the medium has been the message as services such as Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, and Flickr have given people access to technology to get information out in various ways. Storify is the next step in the evolution of social media. It puts forward the centrality of message over medium and allows people who write those messages to broadcast them seamlessly-- beautifully.

Hi Burt,

A few things before I publish this piece:
1)  We don't usually lead off with a picture.  I've placed it on the right and also we use 10 for the vertical and horizontal spacing - it makes the picture line up with the text better. I've done these corrections for your articles, but going forward, please try to do this before submitting to pending.
2)  I'd like to request sources for this piece and future articles.  There was some hesitancy by the editors to publish your pieces in Sci/Tech as some of the content can be viewed as questionable science.  I think adding sources (other than links to your site - which I appreciate you keeping down to 1 or 2 when relevant) for some of your points would help in this case.
That being said, I enjoy the variety that your pieces offer - it's clear from your site that you have a successful program and I acknowledge that you're a solid writer.
I've placed the article back in draft - please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thanks,
