You don't get to see a bird skeleton every day, I guess. At least I don't, that's for sure.
Today I came across a website presenting a list of drawings and renders of bird skeletons, and 3D animations of rotating models. It features birds like the Black Woodpecker, the Congo Peafowl, the Papua hornbill, the Maguari stork and more...
I can't think of a situation in which this information could be of any practical use to me, but it's oh so interesting. It's a boys and science thing i guess. And there is some poetry too.
it's rather like looking at Leonardo Da Vinci's sketches of flying machinery. Perfectly aerodynamically balanced and tightly designed birds skeletons. That's all there is to it. You can check it here.

I'm glad you posted this. I found a bird skeleton in the woods nearby and I'm trying to assemble it. The 3D images help a lot. Thanks!
