Sarah McLachlan Storms Pop Culture with Perez Hilton Exclusive

sarah-mclachlanI don’t know about you, but the last time I saw Sarah McLachlan was on TV with Joe Biden in a field in Pennsylvania at the 10th anniversary commemoration of the 9-11 attacks. The ’90s adult-pop darling hasn’t exactly been front and center in pop culture of late. Case in point: While founding the Lilith Fair was a memorable accomplishment, Lilith turned in her keys way back in 1999. A 2010 revival of the festival barely got off the ground.

So with a new album due May 6, McLachlan is storming the gates with performances on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (May 7), Good Morning America (May 5), and The View (May 8), and debuting the song “Beautiful Girl” on the hyper-excitable PerezHilton.com.

To support Shine On, her first album in four years, McLachlan embarks June 20 on a North American tour. Dates and details are available at her website.
