Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival Coming to Atlanta

Hot on the heels of my coverage of Mayhem Festival 2010, and I do mean hot, I received my email confirmation to cover Uproar Festival. I probably wouldn’t have even considered another journey out into the heat for most tours, but there are two things that Uproar Fest has going for it. One is that it’s another Rockstar Energy Drink event and, in my experience, they are the best at taking care of business. Great shows, great bands, well organized — I know they called it Mayhem, but honestly, that had nothing to do with their tour management. I’d be a happy concert reviewer if all of them were run like the Rockstar Energy Drink shows.

The other thing that fueled my decision was the ass-kicking band line-up. If Mayhem Fest was cool then Uproar is definitely going to be spectacular! For Mayhem Festival I had the opportunity to interview Korn’s Ray Luzier, along with some backstage interviews with In This Moment and Winds of Plague.

The line-up I’m looking at for Uproar Festival at Aaron’s Amphitheatre at Lakewood, in Atlanta, on September 4th is nothing less than stellar.

Jagermeister Stage
Uncrowned 3:15
New Medicine 3:45
Hail the Villain 4:25
Airbourne 5:10
HellYeah 5:55

Rockstar Main Stage
Halestorm 6:40
Stone Sour 7:30
Avenged Sevenfold 8:35
Disturbed 9:55

I’ll be setting up band interviews this week, but in the meantime you can check out up-coming tour dates and band line-ups, as well as order tickets and V.I.P. packages, on RockstarUproar.com
