I went 9-5 last week. That puts me at 42-34 for the season. For a comparison, check out the “experts” over at ESPN. Here are my picks for the NFL’s Week Six:

***SUNDAY, OCTOBER 17***

Seattle 2-2 at Chicago 4-1 1:00 PM [Bears by 6.5]

Bears QB Todd Collins’ quarterback rating: 5.9.

—RJ’s Pick: Chicago by 2

Miami 2-2 at Green Bay 3-2 1:00 PM [No Line]

Special teams aside, the Dolphins are pretty good.

—RJ’s Pick: Miami by 4

San Diego 2-3 at Saint Louis 2-3 1:00 PM [Chargers by 7.5]

The Chargers always start off slow and finish strong.

—RJ’s Pick: San Diego by 13

Baltimore 4-1 at New England 3-1 1:00 PM [Patriots by 3]

Game Of The Week. AFC playoff rematch. AFC playoff preview?

—RJ’s Pick: Baltimore by 2

New Orleans 3-2 at Tampa Bay 3-1 1:00 PM [Saints by 4]

The Super Bowl champs are struggling.

—RJ’s Pick: New Orleans by 1

Detroit 1-4 at New York Giants 3-2 1:00 PM [Giants by 10.5]

Detroi’s Nate Burleson is kind of an idiot.

—RJ’s Pick: Detroit by 3

Atlanta 4-1 at Philadelphia 3-2 1:00 PM [Eagles by 3]

Will an injured Michael Vick play against his former team?

—RJ’s Pick: Atlanta by 4

Cleveland 1-4 at Pittsburgh 3-1 1:00 PM [Steelers by 13]

Ben Roethlisberger will HAVE HIS WAY with the Browns defense.

—RJ’s Pick: Pittsburgh by 20

Kansas City 3-1 at Houston 3-2 1:00 PM [Texans by 3.5]

Houston will contain Jamaal Charles and win.

—RJ’s Pick: Houston by 8

Oakland 2-3 at San Francisco 0-5 4:05 PM [49ers by 6]

Bad: Al Davis, Team Owner. Worse: Mike Singletary, Head Coach.

—RJ’s Pick: Oakland by 5

New York Jets 4-1 at Denver 2-3 4:05 PM [Jets by 3]

Denver’s Kyle Orton will get intercepted at least three times.

—RJ’s Pick: New York Jets by 11

Please tell me that last week’s 4-10 will my my worst week of the season. The Survivor pool I’m in is down to 41 people (from 170) – a lot due to the outcome of the afternoon games last week. I’ve got the Steelers this week, so hopefully I’ll survive the current week. Picks for this week:

    Bears over Seahawks
    Dolphins over Packers
    Texans over Chiefs
    Steelers over Browns
    Saints over Buccaneers
    Giants over Lions
    Falcons over Eagles
    Rams over Chargers
    Ravens over Patriots
    49ers over Raiders
    Jets over Broncos
    Cowboys over Vikings
    Redskins over Colts
    Titans over Jaguars

I thought I’d do better this week, and I am holding at 8-5 for right now. Colts taking the Redskins didn’t surprise me, but I really thought the Ravens would take the Patriots (and the Falcons take the Eagles)! Guess I need to pay more attention.
