RIAA blurb on the Supremes life sentence of the Public Domain:

The Court also recognized, once again, that copyright and the First Amendment are completely compatible, noting that our copyright system contains “built-in free speech safeguards.”
I think it interesting that there are only creators and consumers, no corporations (who own the copyrights), no citizens, no customers (and how can you have a market without customers anyways?). Just monolithic multinationals.
