Rhinoplasty, more commonly called a nose job, is plastic surgery with the primary purpose being to improve the appearance of the nose.
Another form of rhinoplasty, called septoplasty, deals more with the functions of the nose, such as correcting breathing.
During the process of rhinoplasty, cartilage and bone are reshaped and reconstructed and excess bone or cartilage may also be removed.
There are two techniques used when performing rhinoplasty, both of which involve incisions made inside of the nostrils. However, the technique, called “open technique”, includes an additional incision in the fleshy skin between the nostrils.Powered by Sidelines
