Quentin Tarentino’s Reservoir Dogs will make its way to the gaming world later this year and Eidos is ready to show off the colorful creation during next week’s E3.
The third-person shooter is just about guaranteed to be a bloody creation if it intends to stick close to its inspirational movie, and avoid being “Stuck in the Middle” of all the other unveilings at the E3. It’s being designed for the Xbox, PlayStation 2 and the PC. It will feature the whole host of characters from Tarentino’s 1992 classic heist flick.
Almost 15 years after the original debut of Reservoir Dogs, we are proud to reflect one of the most esteemed and duplicated directorial film debuts of all time in a gaming format, said Kevin Gill, US Marketing Manager. “Gaming and movie fans alike will have the unprecedented opportunity to play through the events of the movie as well as experiencing parts of the movie that happened off screen but are tangential to the main plot.”
The real draw: The game will, depending on a player’s skill, fill in some long unanswered questions. Savvy player will get to find out what happened to the diamonds, Mr. Brown and Mr. Blue and so on.
The title releases later this fall.
