Darfur Now
Film Screening & Concert Event
Los Angeles May 28th & 29, 2008

The ambitious and noble music tour is bringing attention to the crisis in Darfur, and the plight of its citizens, stuck in a cruel and inhuman civil war. STAND and Participant Media have teamed up to present this national tour, in support of the documentary Darfur Now. Five colleges are holding screenings of the film, as well as venues for the concerts.

Darfur Now is written and directed by Ted Braun, and it features first hand narratives from Don Cheadle, Hejewa Adam, Pablo Recalde, Ahmed Mahmoud Abaker, Louis Moreno-Ocampo and Adam Sterling.  It will be available on DVD on May 27th as well.
