This handheld console has plenty of game titles this holiday season (all release dates subject to change) as well as current favorites N+, Yggdra Union and LEGO Batman, plus the upcoming PSP 3000 Limited Edition Ratchet and Clank Entertainment Pack (Oct. 14) including a PSP-3000 system, 1 GB memory stick, Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters game, National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets UMD and PlayStation Network Voucher for the unique puzzle game Echochrome.

Multi console releases hitting the PSP include Crash Bandicoot: Mind Over Mutant(Oct. 7) and Spider-Man: Web of Shadows (Oct. 21), which has the Web Wonder keeping the peace while New York City is under martial law. The affordable Buzz! Master Quiz makes the jump from the Playstation 2, while the mecha battle/strategy game Mytran Wars (Nov. 25) is set in the 23rd century as battle emerge due to Earth’s lacking resources.

On October 7, basketball fans get offerings of NBA Live 09 and NBA 09: The Inside, which features a new franchise mode, while WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2009 slams through the ranks on November 9. PES 2009: Pro Evolution Soccer (Nov. 11), featuring in-depth customization with a worldwide player roster and a new "Become A Legend" mode to relive famous players’ careers, takes on FIFA Soccer 09 (Oct. 14). Shaun White Snowboarding (Nov. 16) offers a wintry mix of fast fun.

Need for Speed Undercover (Nov. 17) features more story driven elements including a federal agent character played by Maggie Q. Other racing titles include DT Carnage (Oct. 29), Midnight Club: LA Remix (Oct. 21), Monster Jam: Urban Assault (Oct. 28) and SBK-08: Superbike World Championship ‘08 (Oct. 28).

Players can escape to the deep blue in the role playing game Star Ocean: First Departure on October 21. In the RPG Valhalla Knights 2, players create heroes to scurge through dungeons to battle evil creatures. Dungeon Maker II: The Hidden War (Nov. 12) features environment creation and monster slashing in an action RPG/simulation combination. Ben 10: Alien Force – The Game (Oct. 28) has loads of puzzle/platform action while Tom Clancy’s EndWar (Nov. 4) offers military strategy elements set in the third World War.

Players can test several different skill types in the puzzler Pipe Mania (Sept. 30) or fight to the finish with King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga (Oct. 21) or Martial Arts: Capoeira (Oct. 27). Music fans can find rhythm based play in the Korean import DJ Max Fever (Nov. 11). Card battle games include Neverland (not Peter Pan, the series from Japan) and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 3.
