Prince Set for “Takeover” of ‘The Arsenio Hall Show’ March 5, 2014

Arsenio Prince announcementPrince fans, take note. His Royal Badness will appear as the sole guest on The Arsenio Hall Show on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. The news was delivered to a clearly overjoyed Hall via a silent female “clone.” Prior to her entrance, the studio audience was tipped off by the house band’s conspicuous rendition of the Prince classic “Let’s Go Crazy.”

Hall was handed an envelope containing a personal message from Prince stating, “The Arsenio Hall Show has always been so welcoming to us in the past, and we wanted to return that favor.” Prince also welcomed Hall back to late night television, adding: “You have truly been missed.”

Prince is expected to perform several songs and sit for an interview with Hall. Longtime Prince fans will recall Prince and the New Power Generation’s seven-song performance on the original Arsenio Hall Show on September 4, 1991. The artist was promoting his then-current hit Diamonds and Pearls. Prince and the NPG were back for a four-song set on February 23, 1993, promoting the so-called “Love Symbol” album (the title was the unpronounceable glyph that Prince adopted as his name during his dispute with Warner Bros.).

The Arsenio Hall Show is syndicated nationwide, local listings can be found on the show’s official website. Follow all the latest The Arsenio Hall Show news on Twitter and Facebook.

About The Other Chad

An old co-worker of mine thought my name was Chad. Since we had two Chads working there at the time, I was "The Other Chad."
