Hints of a full Take That reunion

It has been hinted that Robbie Williams may be willing to rejoin the boy band Take That. Williams left the group in 1995, although it wasn’t confirmed that he had left until a year later. The band reunited last year without Robbie with several sell-out shows and a chart topping album in the UK last year. Williams has recently been in rehab.

Sandisk and Yahoo to challenge Apple’s iPod

Sandisk and Yahoo are teaming up with a new MP3 player that can download wirelessly. The Sansa Connect will be able to download content from Yahoo’s music store using software developed by Zing. The MP3 player will be 4 GB and will be able to hold up to 1,000 songs and be able to download a song in just 30 seconds. Yahoo will be selling subscription plans as well, starting at $12 a month.

Iha not to join in Pumpkins reunion

James Iha has said that he will not be part of the Smashing Pumpkins reunion. Iha is the founding guitarist of the band, so far only Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlain are confirmed as part of the band’s lineup. The Smashing Pumpkins are expected to release their new album Zeitgeist in July.
