So huge uproar about horses being slaughtered, but not cows? Why is that? Many cows don't even live to see their second birthday because they get slaughtered first. Why are horses so great? A cow holds the world record for the highest jump with a rider standing on her back...not a horse. Cows can do anything a horse can do. Can horses provide us with quality milk? NO! Can horses fur be made into blankets and coats? NO! Cows also helped Americans settle this country. Who provided the milk? Cows, not horses. So why are cows still being slaughtered? If horse slaughter is banned then all other animal slaughter should be banned!

Dont know much about eating horses. We have this old lady at our trailer park that lets her horse inside at night. Last week Jimmy Joe shot and killed a pit-bull. He put that puppy on his charcoal rotisseri and said it was a pig. That dog being skinned looked just like a pig, apple in mouth and all. All I know it was sure good with the potato saland and red beans. Just wonder if you all have a good receipt for horse.

Horses DO NOT deserve to be eaten! Even today horses are serving man in many aspects of life.
