I didn't threaten anyone you friggin dolt. I said it would be karma if someone took a shot at hillary.

Again the reading comprhension problems of BC posters arise.

Second I never said anything that would show I am cherry picking cases to illustrate the fairness of our judicial system based on politcal stripes.

Clinton was only guilty of one thing that any man would do-he lied about having an affair on his wife.

It seems as if you're the one doing that Jet.

Just because Clinton didn't have the respect for his wife to keep it in his pants you cast apersions on all other men? Clinton is a serial adulterer. Not all men are. He is also guilty of lying to congress and it doesn't matter what the lie is about. He still perjured himself.
His administration shreded documenhts (Sandy burgalar.) The whitewater documents in question were "conviently" found in storage in the white house 2 days before the statute of limitations ran out. I could go on and on.

The Clintons are guilty of so much more than anything you want to blame them for Jet and I am sure that they will have to answer to a higher court for what they have done in thier quest for power.

The fact is that the Clintons are as crooked and evil as the day is long but because slick willie had the dumb luck of being in office while the internet/.com bubble spurred by the private sector drove the economy, idiots liek Jet want to label him some kind of economic genius and one of our greatest presidents. What horseshit!

No one is saying that Nixon doesn't deserve some of the blame for Vietnam but don't forget it was Johnson that escalated the fuck out of it.

Through the Certain and True prism of ideology, you can literally lay blame of anything you want on the opposite party.

Anybody who has to stoop to constantly whining about Clinton & Ted Kennedy is obviously unable to marshal any better arguments. If you can't cite egregious violators/violations within the past 5 years, you do yourself more harm than good with the weakness of your source. Same goes for those who have to hark back to Nixon on the other side.

So you're allowed to whine about Bush all day but I'm not allowed to whine about Clinton?

Clinton was our last president so it is relevant for campare and contrast purposes.

As for more recent examples Nancy.....well I'm sure that if Hillary runs for president there will be a whole heck of a lot campign finance violations goign on. I'd bet my life on it.

Also I have no problem with discussing the vietnam war but I don't think it is fair for either side to say that Nixon represents the gop of today or that lbj represents the dems of today.

You think you'd actually be happy for a change now that Ken Lay and Jeff Skilling have been found guilty Nancy.

Let me state clearly an emphatically in no uncertain terms for all of you who are incapable of reading a sentence and correctly understanding it's meaning.

I never said that I intended to do any harm to Hillary Clinton or any other person. I never said it because I never intend to do it....

What I said was that it would be a fine example of karma if someone (other than me who has no intentions to do so or anythign even remotely similiar in nature to Hillary or anyone else ont he planet.... got that? need me to repeat it another fifty fucking time people?) killed Hillary Clinton for political reasons.

And yes I would not lose any sleep if it actually happpend as I would see it as a grave threat to this nation being avoided.

I can only hope for my own sake that the fine folks at the FBI or SS have better readign comprehension than you guys. Although I suspect it might have more to do with your apparent animosity toward me for expressing my views whcih don't coincide with your own, so brashly and vocally than it does with your reading comprehension. In that case too bad...bite me!

JustOneLiar,

"Gee low interest rates are the only reason that minorities own businesses and homes"

I never said that. I was talking about the increase in both housing and the population in general. And just because Bush is opening up the borders and against abortion doesn't mean he gets credit for the population increase.

"remember 'I was for it before I was against it'"

Ah, yes. Once again a conservative showing that he has no idea how governemt works. Things don't just show up on the floor for a vote. They go through committees, amendments that have nothing to do with the bill get tacked on, events change.

Was Kerry's statement accurate. Yes, it was. Does it sound confusing. Obviously to the simple-minded. However, what I marvel at the most is the gonads it takes to deride someone for misspeaking when your candidate is George W. Bush.

"As has been clearly demonstrated here on BC I fully support gay rights"

Yes, by voting for people that are against gay rights. Quite an ingenious plan, really.

Mr. ArchConservative has no intention of hurting or killing Hillary Rodham, but he would be A-OK if someone else did. My reading comprehension is fine: He himself said he would lose no sleep if someone offed her for political purposes.

What if that statement pushes someone to harm her? You don't know: Some sickie could be reading this. Should such a terrible thing ever happen (and it would be just as terrible if Dubya Bush or his spouse were killed for political reasons), the first thing to ask the perp is if he or she reads Blogcritics. If so, it may be possible for a crafty lawyer to link the vile deed with Mr. ArchConservative's spew and to prove that he possibly influenced someone. It may not be enough to have Mr. ARchConservative jailed as an accessory (hope not, in fact; he was just speaking his piece and making a point, albeit a stupid, inhumane one), but perhaps something like that can serve to instruct him: Freedom of expression comes with repercussions should bad things happen as a proven, direct result of those sorts of statements. Proving such a thing would be tough, but I don't believe it's impossible. Who knows with juries, particularly those with humane members?

Long live Rodham.
Long live Clinton.
Long live all the Bushites.
Long live all of you.

Archie: "We need a real .... conservative on the ticket in 2008. ....Someone who if he found himself in agreement with Ted Kennedy on any issue what have to take a moment ot find out what had gone wrong."

Do you realize how dumb this statement is? What you are proposing is that conservatism is defined by it's opponents, the liberals. That I find this kind of aberrant argument so commonly in conservative discourse is really alarming. No purpose is served by allowing others to define ones political position. This kind of knee-jerk response by democrats used to be the object of scorn from conservatives, and now you're making yourself the butt of a joke, and trying to take the rest of conservatism with you. You aren't doing conservatives a service thereby.

• 206 - Arch Penicillin

May 27, 2006 at 7:43 am

"What if that statement pushes someone to harm her? "

Well then I guess I will just have to get the ACLU to defend me much in the same way that they defended NAMBLA when it was accused that they actually pushed Charles Jaynes to murder Jeffrey Curly.

The GOP isn't going to run Rino Rudy so talking about him vs Hillary is pointless. We're also not going to run Mccain. I hope the GOP throws him under the bus in the next 2 years as it is where he belongs.

Bliffle that was kind of a joke but not really when you consider that when you realize that Ted Kennedy is pretty much opposed to the traditional consevrvative view on every topical issue.

I hate Ted Kennedy...what else can I say?

There are a lot of people in my boat.

Just I think we also missed the part where the Dem leadership in congress completely ignores the congressman with the 100K. Sure the botoxed bitch has asked him to step down from one of the committees but it's not as if taking bribes is reason enough to be made to resign from Congress if you're a dem. If you're a rep like Tom delay and there's questionable campaign financing you gotta go but if you're a dem and you get caught with 100K in bribe money that you actually used a fema emergency boat to reteieve from your house in the midst of a hurricane well then that's a ok.

talk about hypocrisy wiht a capital H

We don't need anymore big government sell-out Republicans in Washington. There are too many of them there, and they're ruining the party and its morale.

Bill Clinton was more conservative than the Republicans we have in Wasington, now, and that's pretty scary that he balanced the budget, while Republicans continue to balloon the deficit. At least with a fake Democrat we get Republican policies. With a fake Republican we get big government programs that dramatically increase spending, deficits and create big government snoop programs to monitor everything they can get their hands on to monitor.

I have always said Bush was not a true conservative. Looks like I was right all along.

I am the GOP base. I'll stick to my state elections this year. Washington has become a quagmire of liberal Republicans and liberal Democrats and we're going to need Newt to fix it again.

• 208 - Nancy

I have always said Bush was not a true conservative. Looks like I was right all along.

Bush is a war-time conservative. It's not that he abandons conservative values (see the first two years of his presidency in education, tax cuts, and defense spending), but he is totally absorbed in preventing another 9/11, which he has done this far. Thus you may see one of his father's faults in him; namely, seeming neglect of domestic issues in favor of foreign affairs (although W has much more reason to be so than H.W.)

Mr. Real Estate -- I wouldn't call the majority party's policies "liberal" or necessarily "conservative." Big Government Neoconservatism is the prevailing governmental philosophy. I can understand why both "real" conservatives, libertarians, moderates, progressives, and liberals would be unhappy with how things are going, which is exactly why the poll numbers are what they are.

Arch get you head out of your ass, they began planning it a year after the first failed attack in 1993. the "pilots" only took a summer to learn how to use the flight controls, and it took only a year to gather and train the men up that were willing to play kamakaze.

Any idiot that watches the Discover Channel, the National grographic Channel and the History Channel knows that!

The Clinton administration gave Bush reports that a threat was coming that Bush judged wasn't credibile.

They were biding their time from 1995-6 until nearly the end of 2001. 5 years...

During that entire period we had Colin Powell in charge and the exact same military establishment in place in the pentagon

The only difference was a different commander in Chief. Bin Laden gave the green light when he knew we had a leader that couldn't make decisions on his own, had to take time to get permission from the Saudis before doing anything in the region, and would sit on his ass reading a children's book for 7 minutes doing nothing.

The left side of your brain must be completely dead.
