See all the cheers and applause? That's you, dear uninformed voter, telling Obama, "yes, please give me more lies. I like being lied to. And take away more of my rights while you're at it." Think I'm being an asshole for saying this? Too bad. I'm merely stating the obvious. No Republican alive has ever suggested anything like what's mentioned in the above Obama quote, but last week he said it anyway, and to the entire nation no less. Because he knows his supporters, and perhaps even a majority of Americans, are fools. After all, we did vote for him once already.
You can't see the danger to your rights as a citizen in all of this, you don't seem to care that your freedom is slipping away at the hands of an arrogant partisan who thinks he knows what is best for you. You obsess over issues like contraception and gay marriage, issues that aren't even on the table this election cycle, while your ability to earn a living, not to mention the opportunity to perhaps one day be successful, are being dashed before your eyes. To quote Obama, "you are the change."
My mom recently said to me that years ago, when people acted foolishly, you could laugh at them. Today, it's much harder to laugh because their foolish behavior hurts the rest of us. She was talking about Obama voters and she's right. Please, don't take my word for it. Read up on the issues, the facts. Read both sides. There is a reason why the GOP convention talked about freedom and the DNC convention talked about government. We can't afford another four years of this, and anyone with even a basic understanding of America, and even a tenuous grasp of common sense, should be able to see that.
