The issue of “The Mosque” has exploded upon us. No longer are American citizens concerned about the miserable state of the economy; no concern either for the issue of joblessness, or the aching ever-present issue, the funding of health care. These matters fade as every citizen of these states is bound to consider the matter of the Islamic plans. The Muslims, presumably moderate, presumably unaffiliated with extremist terrorist groups, have plans to build a lavish, modern mosque near the area where, on September 11, 2001, nearly 3000 lives were lost. The air that day was unbreathable with the remnants and debris of the falling towers of the World Trade Center. The extremist core of the followers of Osama bin Laden, he, a billionaire prince of Saudi Arabia, a radical Muslim, fell, on that day, that most defining of all American buildings.
Our American president clearly states that the American Constitution, and absolutely, the principles upon which our great nation were founded, demand that these Muslims have a right to build their place of worship, if such placement is consistent with local law. The Mayor of the city of New York agrees.
This confirmation of the Muslim right to build comes at a time when we in America have seen unforeseen waves of potential violence forming. The new right, the Tea Party, has come dangerously close to advocating an armed overthrow of the seated government, the seated president. They long to scream it! “Get that Negro out of our White House!” Perhaps now they will have a new cry; “Remove that Muslim! We know what we want. We know how we feel! We are America!” And worse, now many Americans, till now tolerant and supportive of Barack Obama, will find themselves echoing these perhaps treasonous perceptions. Emotion sometimes surpasses reason.
Remember too, that the new unsettled East. Pakistan, where now floods of Biblical proportions are producing devastation, has, as does the United States and many others, nuclear weapons. Yet we forbid Iran, a center of the Muslim world, from having these armaments. Iran does not hesitate to threaten violence. North Korea daily declares that war is immanent. China, now with a booming economy, may have surpassed the US as the world’s dominant nation, and yet America snubs China, angers China by selling billions of dollars of weapons to tiny Taiwan. Even Russia in recent years has shown disregard for the regards of America.

This article is so filled with errors and mis-statements, deliberate or otherwise, that it is hard to know where to begin.
Let's start with the title. Muslims are not building a mosque. The Wahhabi are building a victory monument, not dissimilar to the arch in Rome commemorating the destruction of Jerusalem and its Temple 1,940 years ago.
The project to build this building is called the "Cordoba Project" and is not proposed by "moderate Muslims" as John Lake ignorantly presumes, but by a fellow with ties to the Egyptian Brotherhood, the Wahhabi who rule in Arabia, and of all interesting folks, Hamas. These people are all heretics to Islam, not Moslems at all. But, since the Wahhabi own and control Makka and Medina, and pay for thousands of madrassas world wide to teach the lies of the Wahhabi, and have militant Arabs who will kill anyone who says otherwise to silence people, everyone calls the Wahhabi "Muslim". Everyone calls Obama an American citizen too, even though he refuses to produce what I and nearly all American citizens born in the United States have - a long form document specifying birth, with a stack of details. A man who refuses to produce a birth certificate is hiding something, and if you folks are willing to be complicit in this man's hiding his origins, you definitely deserve what you get from him.

The Cordoba Project is named after the city of Córdoba, a city conquered by Muslims 1,300 years ago in Iberia. And in this fine city, many Christians were massacred, and the churches (most of the main ones, anyway) became mosques. Muslims build mosques where they have won a victory; the Wahhabi, having won a victory by knocking down the WTC, want to piss on Americans by building a "mosque" - really a victory monument - right near where the WTC used to stand in New York.
The Romans at least had the class to stick their victory monument over Judea in Rome. The Wahhabi are sticking their victory monument right in the faces of the survivors of their treacherous attack on my 50th birthday (by the Christian calendar). They are sticking it right in New York City.
You Americans, particularly you New Yorkers, can stand on your hind legs and let the world know that nobody pisses in your faces - no matter what some suit in the White House says. Or you can take your pocket constitutions, recite the First Amendment a few times and hope it still applies to you when the Wahhabi start shoving Sharia down your throats. The choice is yours.

We've been over this before, but the Certification of Live Birth, which is what Obama has produced, constitutes acceptable proof of birth by any legal standard.
Nearly all American citizens do indeed have their full birth certificates; but some do not, and for quite legitimate reasons. I think it's likely that Obama simply doesn't have his any more. Considering that he has moved homes many times during his life, has lived on two different continents, and that his parents are long since divorced and deceased, there seem to me to have been ample opportunities for his birth certificate to get lost.
