The Minutemen Project and the "La Reconquista" Lie - Comments Page 5

Have you ever heard of "La Reconquista"? Odds are, if you aren't a raging bigot or a member of the Minutemen Project, you probably haven't heard of it at all. But perhaps its time to learn about it. After all, notions of "La Reconquista" are being used to fuel racism and promote vigilantism in America.…

    HAHAHAHAHA.
Lovely kneepads, they compliment your wardrobe remarkably.

    HEY GUYS!
I'm back for a couple of days! I see Steve finally gave us what we wanted.
    He finally admitted:
    He's gay
    He hates God
    He does drugs
    He promotes conspiracy theories
    He hates capitalism
    He hates conservatives
    He doesn't have a job
He considers $100 a lot of money
    He hates America
    He tolerates gays abusing children
He knows what kneepads are for
    He engages and enjoys sodomy
    He hates fighting for freedom
    He hates the president
    He hates the military
He epitomizes everything that is wrong with America
But all of that is okay....ya know why?
    CUZ STEVE'S A BLOGGER!!!
    YEEEEEEHAAAAAAAW!!!

  • 181 - mary b.

    Sep 02, 2005 at 10:06 am

Hold on a minute Steve.....you engage in sodomy?

  • 182 - Steve S

    Sep 02, 2005 at 10:46 am

    He's gay
    He hates God
    He does drugs

I have stated that I don't do drugs. Now who is the one playing around with what they read? My interest in legalizing drugs is to combat the immigration problem. And I don't hate God, but I don't want a country where I have to live under YOUR definition of God.

    He promotes conspiracy theories

There is no conspiracy that I have promoted. What I have illustrated is the assault on the principles of Democracy that extremists are doing. It is people like you who think America should be filled with clones of yourself. In America, the Land of the Free, we are supposed to be free to be ourselves.

    He hates capitalism
    He hates conservatives

I favor capitalism over socialism. I do not agree with 99% of conservative ideology.

    He doesn't have a job
He considers $100 a lot of money

I have a job. $100 dollars is a lot of money to waste on you.

    He hates America
    He tolerates gays abusing children

I love America, I hate your definition of America. America is supposed to be diversity, not your concept of white supremacy. And I don't tolerate the abuse of children at all.

He knows what kneepads are for
    He engages and enjoys sodomy

You have no idea what I do in my bedroom. I might engage in sodomy, I might be celibate and have given my life to the Lord. You have no idea. But you can dream, can't you?

    He hates fighting for freedom

I am completely fighting for freedom against the likes of you.

    He hates the president
    He hates the military

    neither is accurate.

He epitomizes everything that is wrong with America

In America we are supposed to be free to be ourselves. Your supremacy is starting to show through Chris.

if there is one thing that this whole thread has convinced me, it's that the Aryan supremists are not just at the helm. But we knew that. Thanks for confirming it guys.

It's clear you all want a country under your God's principles, and you don't want foreigners or people who don't fit your biblical mores. America is a melting pot of diversity, where we all are supposed to be free to be ourselves.

I would personally like to thank Chris King, the supremist posing as a Mexican - Ramone, media watch who has no website or credentials, and mary b, for fucking this country up.

    Sep 02, 2005 at 4:35 pm

Steve, you need to read your article again, its wasn't about a theocracy.

oh, it most definitely was. If you are referring to the article at the top of the page, a quick glance at 'author' will show you this isn't my article.

And did your God create HIV just for your type?

No. My God does not create diseases or hurricanes. Natural forces do that. Nature does that. And if YOUR God created HIV for homosexuals then YOUR God is a fuck up, as most people worldwide who have HIV are heterosexual.

  • 186 - Steve S

    Sep 02, 2005 at 4:40 pm

Just so you know what my religion is: I've been baptized and have accepted Jesus. Jesus and God do not indiscriminately kill thousands to punish.

HOWEVER, if YOU want to believe that YOUR God punishes here on earth, then you need to go back to your homes and let God be the one to make things right on the border.

    Sep 02, 2005 at 5:13 pm

Well, Steve, I'm starting to well up inside...I'm certainly glad I could be of help to you.... getting your feelings all straightened out. Yes, Steve, you've been victimized. We have all conspired...in a grand way.
Anthony, Ramone, Jaime and now EVEN Mary have agreed to put on white robes with pointy hats and we're gonna meet Simcox and Gilchrist in Salinas California! Yes siree! Yep! Those NAZI lovers are gonna show us how to round up all the gays and illegals and pot smokers and force them into churches of OUR CHOICE! FORCE THEM TO PRAY TO OUR GOD!! It simply gives me the chills thinkin' bout it!!

"Media watch has confirmed that with me, because media watch wants this country to be under his/her God."

Yeah and you want it to be under the devil.

" My interest in legalizing drugs is to combat the immigration problem."

Drugs are a problem we do not need. DONT YOU DARE LEGALIZE DRUGS IN MY COUNTRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah legalized drugs would work. It would f**k up this country enough so they don't want to come here.

Forget illegal immigration exists for a second and tell me if legalized drugs are the right or wrong thing.A

"And if YOUR God created HIV for homosexuals then YOUR God is a fuck up, as most people worldwide who have HIV are heterosexual."

Yeah heterosexual needle shares, oh yeah you like them too. I guess you are on the outs with god.

The people who have aids or HIV are fags, hoekers, and needle sharers. This is why I will never have HIV, because I avoid ALL three of those type of people.

"when men have sex with men it produces death...it's nature's way of weeding out the perverse." by mary

Thank you, thank you very much. Steve let me tell you something: AIDS!!!!

"I am completely fighting for freedom against the likes of you."

Why? How are we talking anyone's freedom away? Why are you so mad? Did John dump you? Or was his name Dave?

"then you need to go back to your homes and let God be the one to make things right on the border."

We control our own fate, but you would like us to leave the border. You are against any conservative movement. If Hollywood celebraties, the ACLU and MoveOn.org were the ones doing this and at the same time making it clear that it is Bush's fault we have this problem you would support it. I don't deny it.

Steve take my advice and learn Dutch. Because there in Holland drugs are legal, gays can get married, liberals run rampant and the place is filled with poor immigrants for the Caribean. It would be a place that you can live in Harmony. Please don't f*** up my country, Holland is already liberalized, there is no need for two.

Your article was not about theocracy it was about the Minutemen. The first article above was about Reconquista which that quack said the Minutemen made it up....but that website you, Steve, sent us to had ALL THOSE QUOTES FROM HISPANICS SHOUTING OUT THE RE-CONQUISTA THING!!! Wow, that guys kinda confused about his sources just the way you are Steve!
And finally, my friend, although many heterosexuals have HIV....make no mistake....ALL FAGS DIE FROM AIDS.

  • 197 - Steve S

    Sep 02, 2005 at 6:39 pm

well this has completely degenerated. I thought the conversation couldn't get anymore meaningless.

Anthony, you define the three people who get AIDS as gays, hookers and iv users, however if we look at Africa, India, China and other countries where it runs rampant, the majority of people in this world who have AIDS are heterosexual and do not use needles. So I dispute any theory that thinks that nature/God created it to punish sexual orientation. Because it is a very ineffective way to punish it.

As for the reference to 'John', that is my brother in law, far more right winger than any of you, but tolerant towards diversity. There are no supremists in my family.

all gay people do not die of aids. I have been in a monogamous relationship for 20 years, so aids cannot get into the relationship. The majority of gay people do NOT have aids, you cannot prove otherwise because you cannot prove how many gay people there are.

What I want is a place where I can live my life and you can live yours, both in peace and free from illegal immigration, from living under anothers version of God and where we don't have to cross paths.

What you want is a white only country that is puritan in value and follows a corrupt organizations version of a God.

You are destroying this country, I am adhering to it's values.

Thank you billy, for popping over here. It gets frustrating to see many people want to debate politics/ideology from the comfort of their armchairs but when the real villians of this country come forth, they retreat in silence. Thanks again.

Your article was not about theocracy it was about the Minutemen.

no. Go back and read it. I also talked about the extremists at the helm of the save Terri Schiavo movement. That had nothing to do with the minutemen. I also talked about Justice Sunday as well as a President who runs a country based on his definition of the Gospel.

No, it wasn't about the minutemen, although that was a large part of it.

"What I want is a place where I can live my life and you can live yours, both in peace and free from illegal immigration"

Then support the MinuteMen. But you won't because it was a conservative idea that started it. If democrats were organizing it you would be all for it.

"What you want is a white only country that is puritan in value and follows a corrupt organizations version of a God."

Now wait a minute, just because we don't like gays, illegals and drug users doesn't mean we want an all white country. When liberals are clearly losing an argument they always refer to us as rascists, no matter what the circumstance. I can't wait to hear what the MEXICAN Ramone has to say about this one.

"when the real villians of this country come forth, they retreat in silence."

Yeah the MinuteMen are retreating in silence.

I think he will say 'Dood' and 'Yeehaw'.

"when the real villians of this country come forth, they retreat in silence."

No, the supremists are the villians of this country. They are using the minutemen as a front.

Hey John, I know your new at this thread, but please don't mention MEChA. See, Steve thinks all illegals and pro-illegal activists are kind gently law abiding people just here to earn a honest living. He has denied that La MEChA, MALDEF, LA RAZA, LA RECONQUISTA, LA VOZ de AZTLAN, LULAC...etc...exist. He actually believes that the illegal invasion (4000 per day and he will still argue it's not an invasion...hah!) is the USA's fault. So try as you may, you will never convince him that anyone who is against illegal immigration isn't a radical extremist. Basically, he hates conservatism and it's majority hold on America. He is always crying and whining that he's a victim. The last several posts are so ridiculously worded....we were all just giving him a little taste of his own logic. Hee hee!!

"No, the supremists are the villians of this country"

Are you refering to the Nazis who tried to join them??? Do you know that the minutemen condemned them and said this is not what they are about.???

It is funny how you lose on one approach and try and attack them on another approach.

Don't tell Steve about this, he'll develop another conspiracy theory about it and blame it on the US.

Chris, I did acknowledge that criminal element comes over within the illegal immigrant groups.

I've never heard of any of those groups believe it or not, before this thread but I don't doubt that criminal element exists.

I'll say this, if there is a group, even if it consists of 20 people, who want to over throw the government, then they are terrorists. And I would imagine our government is very interested in knowing about terrorists. So why are they not doing anything?

Because perhaps it's possible that a group of 200 individuals (number of Aztlan members from your link) cannot overthrow a country of 300 million? Or perhaps the government IS investigating/infiltrating these groups and a bunch of American vigilantes would only hamper things or jeopardize the lives of our agents.

You apparently have NO faith in our Republican controlled government to protect us from those who would bring us harm. I hope that next time then you vote Democrat, Independent or Green Party. Then maybe you won't have to do what you are giving the government tax money to do.

  • 212 - Anthony Grande

"now they are the butt of a national joke after george bush's screw up in this hurricane. what you once crowed as being in the majority has shrunk to 26%."

HAH!!!HAH!!!HAH!!!HAH!!! You liberals never fail to impress me. We got a thousand people dead and thousands more stranded from the results of a NATURAL disaster and you f**k ups blame our president. Do you know that the governor of Loisiana is a democRAT, and the mayor of New Orleans is a DemocRAT and the levee still failed that massive hurricane.

You democRATS are going to be the butt of the joke when the Libertarian bastards steal your spot as the second most powerful party while the Republicans enjoy a massive lead.

"You apparently have NO faith in our Republican controlled government to protect us from those who would bring us harm. I hope that next time then you vote Democrat, Independent or Green Party."

Bush is obviously not doing anything at the time. But I fear if I vote for Hillary she won't build my wall either and pass Gay Marriage and other bullshit. I'd rather wait for the Republicans to come around.

" however if we look at Africa, India, China and other countries where it runs rampant, the majority of people in this world who have AIDS are heterosexual and do not use needles."

China and India is overpopulated and there is no way of telling what they do there to get aids, they probabally are doing something very weird. As for Africa the people there are dying by the hundreds of thousands from aids and they aren't educated enough to understand how aids is caused. It sounds like we need to tell them, but why isn't our liberal freind Jesse Jackson out there doing it??? Is it because there is no money involved???

  • 215 - Chris King

    Sep 02, 2005 at 11:52 pm

    Billy,
re: your comment about Bush screwing up the hurricane....
The suffering in the South is immeasurable. Our government has never been faced with a challenge of this proportion. It's easy to criticize government. I see some people thanking God their alive and I see many complaining and condemning the relief effort. I have already sent my help and I pray for them everday.
A week ago the government ordered the evacuation of New Orleans. Not asked, not recomended but ORDERED for those people to leave. They were warned that there was not enough resources to spread around if they stayed. They chose to stay. Some couldn't get out. Thousands chose to stay. Keep that in mind when you hear them demanding this and castigating our relief efforts.
Steve, if you really haven't heard of any of those organizations I mentioned, than you are really very uninformed on this immigration matter, my friend. From the start, I was a little surprised that you were saying the things you were saying in spite of all the SOUND information available. I was imbedded with the Minutemen the whole month of April as you know, and I got to witness all the action first hand. By the way, Steve, I am not a Republican.
When I shared with you my first hand experience with these folks, I had no reason to lie about anything. I have no political persuasion. I, my whole life in this business, have managed to keep my beliefs separate from my objective documentation. I have only tried to impress upon you the importance of "moral clarity". Over and over you denied factual information. You contradicted yourself repeatedly to the point that I (in my last few posts) thought, what the hell, I'm going to give him some of his own crap. (saying things totally off the wall with no facts to back them up)
You expressed no outrage. None. It's because, as I have concluded with you, facts are un-important. The end justify the means. As Dan Rather defended: "Okay, the documents are probably false, but the damn story is true"
No Steve, that's not how it works. Not for people who can walk with their heads held high, with dignity from what they do.
You will say anything about anybody whether it's true or not to get your point across. I have a problem with that. That's all.
Anthony Grande is a great American. He stands for what America stands for. He's not trying to jam anything down your throat like you imply... he just wants to retain the integrity in this great country. I do to.
He's the kind of guy who built this country. It wasn't the victims, the "poor, poor me" types.
I had hoped you would learn from this to check your sources...double check stories before you accept them because they simply fit your beliefs. Not simply read a headline and write a column about it.
For the record: I didn't publish your town...you did.

  • 216 - Steve S

    Sep 03, 2005 at 12:28 am

Steve, if you really haven't heard of any of those organizations I mentioned, than you are really very uninformed on this immigration matter, my friend.

Chris, as I have written, I am not a journalist or a reporter. So Media Watch is looking in the wrong direction first of all. Secondly, I write about my life, my blog is like a diary it just happens to be available for the world to see, but it's mostly stories about my family, recipes and stuff that would bore most people. It is clearly not written by someone who can travel around and interview people, etc. There should be no misunderstanding there. I have never presented myself as anything other than an average American. I am NOT media.

I live in a town that has several hispanic gangs and there is at least one killing a day here. It's wrong and it's sad, but it isn't the general populace at risk. They are killing each other. Not that that makes it right, but it doesn't make our town under siege.

I do not dispute that illegal immigration is a problem, nor do I dispute that criminal element comes across the border illegally. I would like both of it stopped. I have no knowledge of those groups you listed, but knowing that Al Queda would like to destroy this country, it's quite likely that there are other groups too, so in that aspect I do not dispute the existance or intent of those groups. HOwever, I am as against you taking things into your own hands, as I would be if you decided you were going after Osama. I take it you are a private citizen rather than a government agent qualified to do the job.

While it is possible, Chris, that you might catch an illegal here and there, and possibly even one or more of the group members you mentioned, and get them sent back across the border with no problem, it's likely that after you are gone from the situation, someone reacts to it. Meaning it's possible that a criminal down south could retaliate on Americans for the actions you did, is it not? It's possible that with all the minutemen and similiar groups on the border, someone innocent, even an illegal but one with an intent to find a better life and cause no harm can get hurt or killed. And there can be dire consequences to that. And then we all get to pay.

You risk much for those of us living here. While you might apprehend someone with no problem, there can be unforseen consequences to your actions, right? Yes.

From the start, I was a little surprised that you were saying the things you were saying in spite of all the SOUND information available.

with the exception of that one link, all the information I provided was sound. I just am not a writer to present it in a form that you would like.

When I shared with you my first hand experience with these folks, I had no reason to lie about anything.

    I have no reason either.

I, my whole life in this business,

    in what business?

I have only tried to impress upon you the importance of "moral clarity".

I understand and believe in moral clarity. I also believe that two people, who live two different lives will have different perceptions of what is moral. As my blog shows you, I have a 20 year monogamous relationship, we have strong family values and I have dedicated my life to my family. To me that is moral. It is clear from your previous comments that you consider me immoral. So your definition of moral clarity is lost on me.

Over and over you denied factual information.

factual? From who/what? The one link that was factual was the Southern Poverty Law Center link on the Aztlan group. And I conceded that to you. The rest of the facts come from some jerk named media watch who just posts it here with no resources to back it up. And this is while you are telling me to not trust all I read on the internet.

You contradicted yourself repeatedly to the point that I (in my last few posts) thought, what the hell, I'm going to give him some of his own crap.

Chris, apparently you and I had a communication problem. I told you I am not a writer. I don't write the best way and it's clear you've misunderstood a lot of what I am about. Early on, BEFORE you decided to just throw crap my way, you accused me of wanting open borders, of wanting illegals to flood across and all sorts of bogus shit. You threw crap my way from the beginning.

You expressed no outrage. None. It's because, as I have concluded with you, facts are un-important.

No Chris, facts are important to me. But you expect me to trust you when I don't know who the hell you are. All I know is that you defend the supremists on the border, you claim this country is under attack by gangs who want to overthrow it and you seem insistent on getting as much about where I live as you can.

You will say anything about anybody whether it's true or not to get your point across.

No. I say what I believe. A lot of people agree with me, a lot of people call me insane.

he just wants to retain the integrity in this great country. I do to.

    what integrity is vanishing?

I had hoped you would learn from this to check your sources...double check stories before you accept them because they simply fit your beliefs. Not simply read a headline and write a column about it.

What about my story do I need to double check? That there are extremists attaching themselves to the movement? You've conceded that. How's that for a double check?

For the record: I didn't publish your town...you did.

no, but you put it on the thread crawling with supremists. Thanks.

Sorry Bulldog, for what happened to your thread.

    AG,

I gave you three conservatives when you asked for two. Your lack of acknowledgement shows you're a mindless blowhard.

"All I know is that you defend the supremists on the border"

What supremists??? I asked you this before but you didn't answer!!! The minutemen are defending America!!! There are whites, Mexicans and blacks who are involved in the Minutemen, how is this a supremist situation??? The minutemen condemned the Nazis that tried to join them. Do you even know that???

"but you put it on the thread crawling with supremists."

What supremists??? Ramone, the Mexican??? Me, the Italian???
NO!!! the MinuteMen are just Americans and I don't know why you can't see or admit it.

Roger, go away. You don't belong here. You don't know anything about illegal immigration. You aren't from CAlifornia. Chris, said three famous conservatives, I didn't recognize any of the three names you put up, but I doubt they are real conservatives.

I live in Southern California, genius. Ever heard of Irvine?

You said name two conservatives who support drug legalization and I gave you three.

You obviously aren't a conservative if you don't know Buckley. He's considered the godfather of modern American conservatism.

I don't know whether to laugh or feel pity.

Roger, I look down on you. I am only 16 and I look down on you.

Every time I come on here you seem to be here also, you must be here all day. Don't you have a family??? Don't you have any freinds??? At least hit the bar and meet someone.

You are like obsessed with talking to me. Because you come to this site not to talk with the subject at hand, but to argue with me. And then a couple hours later you write back and you are sad that I didn't respond to your ridiculous claims.

Then when I answer your whining you answer back within seconds. Why is that??? Are you sitting on your computer all day and hitting the refresh button waiting for someone to acknowledge you??? Get a life

    I don't laugh or feel pity I just don't give a damn

    "I just don't give a damn"

Yeah, that's why you respond. What is ridiculous is claiming to be a conservative and not knowing who William Buckley is. What is ridiculous is claiming that conservatives don't support drug legalisation when they do. What is ridiculous is not admitting when you are wrong, which it is constantly proven that you are.

I talk about many subjects on the site, but you make so many foolish claims that are easily disproven.

    Sep 03, 2005 at 3:03 am

I have never been disproven you idiot. Conservatives don't support legalizing drugs. I said name two and you named three because that is all there is.

I am not going to talk to you any more unless you are willing to talk about the matter at hand. Stop following me like a shadow. Computer nerds like you are good for nothing, because you don't do nothing. I better shut up, because you probabally know how to hack in to computers.

Now if you don't mind I am going to bed, because unlike you I got stuff to do tomarrow.

    three is more than two.

Steve, For the record: The organizations I referred to above are not, I repeat NOT terrorist organizations. They are the radical groups that are at the helm of the pro-illegal immigration movement. You can easily "search" for these on the internet and find their "official home page" and review the hate and bigotry firsthand for yourself.

Roger? Coming up with three conservatives who favor legalization of "marijuana" is just dandy, but if it ever does get legalized it will be because of liberal pressure, not conservative. You know that.

    Now, Steve, you said:
"Chris, you accused me of wanting open borders, of wanting illegals to flood across and all sorts of bogus shit. You threw crap my way from the beginning."

Steve? This sums up everything I've been saying from the beginning.
I have NOT accused you of wanting open borders. See what I'm talking about? The other guys did, but you just lumped their statements on me. That is the issue I have with you. You can't discern who you are fighting with. Everyone's the enemy. Everyone are supremists.
Ramone told you he personally witnessed Chris Simcox giving an illegal border crosser water and a blanket. His group has done that 143 times - all documented on video backed up by reports from the Border Patrol. I have video of him (in a Minuteman meeting) saying to the volunteers: "People, you must remember, the border crossers are not our enemy, the Mexican Federales are not our enemy, we are only here to assist Border Patrol in spotting illegal border crossers. Anyone making contact with an illegal will be removed IMMEDIATELY from the Minuteman group and reported to authorities" End of quote.
ANYONE DISPUTING THIS? I HAVE THE VIDEO TO PROVE IT.
Yet, Steve, because of little snippets that you have read here and there, you still insist Simcox is a frikkin' white supremist - just like the Ayrans. Lumping him in with them.
That's why there really no sense in debating with you.
You are what you are and you will continue believing what you believe.
    Steve also said:
"you put (my town) on the thread crawling with supremists. Thanks"

OH POOR POOR STEVE! HE'S BEEN VICTIMIZED AGAIN!! Let's see, he creates a website with
    HIS TOWN!!
    HIS LIFE STORY!!
    HIS BELIEFS!!
    EVERYTHING EXCEPT HIS LAST NAME!!

    but because Chris says jokingly:
Anthony, Ramone, Jaime and now EVEN Mary have agreed to put on white robes with pointy hats and we're gonna meet Simcox and Gilchrist in Salinas California! Yes siree! Yep! Those NAZI lovers are gonna show us how to round up all the gays and illegals and pot smokers and force them into churches of OUR CHOICE! FORCE THEM TO PRAY TO OUR GOD!! It simply gives me the chills thinkin' bout it!!

Oh yeah, because I said that:
I HAVE EXPOSED STEVE TO ALL THE SUPREMISTS ON THIS THREAD!!!
    HAH! HAH! HAH!

Gee, Steve, got that sense of foreboding? HAH! HAH! HAH!
    LOSER VICTIM!!!!

    Steve said:
"All I know is that you defend the supremists on the border"
What a joke! Anyone having read my posts know how messed up you are for saying that.
    Steve said:
"you claim this country is under attack by gangs who want to overthrow it"
I said that?...think again. Talkin' about conspiracy theories? Dood, you are a joke...unless of course you can show me where I said that.
    Steve said:
"and you seem insistent on getting as much about where I live as you can."
Awww, Steve, this is so sad. I have never asked you where you live...not once. Now, Anthony and you had a little skirmish about that...but hey, if you want to pin that on me also?...go ahead. Labels, stereotypes, generalizations...they all work for you. It is however, a sign of bigotry. You may need to take a long hard look in the mirror.
    Steve also said:
"I also believe that two people, who live two different lives will have different perceptions of what is moral." Here, Steve you attempt to paint me as judging your gay lifestyle...actually something Mary did. My "moral clarity" issue with you is that you are extrememly irresponsible with "others" reputations. You display a pattern of castigating people who you know very little about. This was one of my main points from the beginning about the role of media and bloggers in today's market. "If it bleeds it leads". The sensationalism of todays talkers is deplorable. Yours included.
Your shameless criticism of people who's only wish is to keep America strong and proud and united is revolting to all but the most radical left wing seperationists. And you wonder why you meet such resistance?
History will prove you on the wrong side of the moral fence...GUARANTEED!
