As soon as Osama Bin Laden's arrival in hell was announced, the Al Qaeda published threats of revenge on their websites.
The list of Muslims who are downright depressed over Bin Laden's death include Hamas, Pervez Musharaff, The Muslim Brotherhood, the Taliban, and the Somalian terrorist group, Al-Shabab. Hundreds of Pakistanis hit the streets in protest, apparently angry that their country's safe haven for the bastard had been discovered.
The Pakistan army didn't like the fact that the SEALS snuck by them to get to Bin Laden's compound. They're pissed over the raid and are threatening to "reconsider cooperation" with the U.S. if there's another violation of sovereignty. Color me unimpressed. We should reconsider the $10 billion in aid we gave them over the past decade that supposedly went to fight the terrorist militants they've actually been protecting. Fuck Pakistan. It's just another one of those countries that belongs on the list of enemies.
Indonesia isn't pleased either. Anjem Choudary's bunch are screaming outside the U.S. Embassy in London. And the hadjis in the Philippines are acting up.
The left's shameless and stupid politicizing on behalf of Obama has some opposition from other left wingnuts. The porcine Michael Moore weeps,“He may be dead, but in a way, he won. We gave up our rights. We passed a Patriot Act. We spent trillions on needless wars. Fear now rules us.” Well, you're right about one thing, fatso. Had we simply leveled each and every Islamofascist nation-state with neutron bombs on 12 September, we would have saved tons of money. He thinks Bin Laden deserved a trial, "Look at the Nuremberg Trials. We didn’t just pop a bullet in the heads of the worst scum in history. We thought it was important to put them on trial and expose their evil. In a democracy we believe in a system of justice and we believe in a judicial system that gives people a day in court…and then we hung them."
After 10 years of witnessing terrorist atrocities committed by radical muslims, who the hell needs to "expose their evil"? He deserved a slow, agonizing death. He deserved to be chopped up in little pieces and flushed down a toilet. He deserved to be hung by his ankles and beaten like a pinata. He deserved to get a bullet for every "infidel" he had killed on 9/11. Unfortunately, the SEAL team had to kill him right away, and Obama gave him the kind of funeral reserved for members of our military, who sacrificed their lives to fight his terrorist shitbags. Must be part of his "muslim outreach" program.

FYI, a whole lot of liberals - myself included - think that it couldn't have turned out better than it did, with the exception of the loss of the Blackhawk.
It was best that he WAS killed.
It was best that he WAS buried at sea.
It was best that Obama took the gamble that he did.
It was best that we took the same care and respect with bin Laden's body as we did with kamikaze pilots in WWII even after they brought death and destruction to our ships.
It was best that the most EFFECTIVE use of interrogation - which does NOT involve torture - was used to find bin Laden.
And the VAST majority of the American people know it!
Your problem - and it is YOUR problem - is that you're so full of hatred of all things Obama and all things liberal that you can't see what he did that was right! Sure, there's some on the Left who decry the assassination of bin Laden...but if you'd listened to more liberal pundits instead of just cherry-picking extremists like Mike Malloy (who I've listened to several times and don't like because he's nearly as wacked as Glenn Beck), you'd find that MOST liberal pundits agreed with what President Obama did the right thing!
And just to tick you off some more, let me repeat that - PRESIDENT Obama did the right thing...and most Americans know it.

AS much as as it annoys me from the other side of the aisle, I have to agree with Contrarian here. Whether by accident or design, the President DID do the right thing, and did handle the problem appropriately, and DID do the smart thing with the corpse afterward.
One of the things America can ill-afford, is circuses starring the bodies of slain enemies. Another, is the court/media circus that would inevitably ensue were Obama to have caved to the "Try to capture him" camp-the jury selection to avoid a mistrial would, I admit, be hilarious, I imagine they'd have to hunt up Randy Weaver and his sort (Isolated, separatists without media to influence their thinking), dig into the deeps of the ozarks, maybe find someone out in Arizona or somewhere who's been hiding in a bunker for thirty years, to get a jury that hasn't already made up their mind as to Mr. Bin Laden's guilt.
A circus followed by a mistrial is NOT a good idea.
Nor is indefinite imprisonment. If you disagree, I'll point you to another notorious in his time terrorist who walked out of a South African Jail after twenty years with the stature of a true statesman. Turning Bin Laden into the Radical Islam equivalent of Nelson Mandela isn't a good idea.
Bad enough he gets to be radical islam's equivalent of Che (Ernie Lynch) Guevarra.

What I find amusing is that Obama is a liberal and IT WAS HIS CALL as to how the seals take osama. Obama saw the action live by camera. Obama did not want to risk american lives (the soldiers) and ordered osama killed. The soldiers followed the orders given. They are soldiers. That's what they do. The fact that many "liberals" (not all but many) think it was a shame to have osama killed shows me that the future of the US belongs to the conservatives. Seriously with 'progressive liberals' like these who needs enemies. oy!
