The CEO Presidency, Condoleezza Rice and Andrew Fastow ...

Let's look at Condi Rice's resume as she is being promoted to her new job. In previous job she was supposed to advise the President on national security and intelligence issues.

During this period, thousands of people were killed on American Soil by terrorists via an apparently undetected plot. ALSO during her time in this previous job an entire war started under false reasoning, supposedly backed up by intelligence reports.

So after receiving such great advice from Ms. Rice, what does George Bush do? He promotes her into a position where she can do more direct damage to America's security by hacking our foreign relations into a bloody mess.

It reminds me of Ken Lay and Andrew Fastow. Fastow did a bad job, creating a mess that dragged his whole company down, but in the short term it helped Ken Lay with falsely inflated profits. So Ken Lay never discouraged or hindered his ''star'' VP.

Ms. Rice allowed 2 disasters of intelligence management to happen during her previous office, and so far they have caused death and destruction on American soil and a war by mistake that is killing Americans daily over seas. But in the short term it allowed Bush to run as a ''war time'' President and get re-elected, so Bush is ''promoting'' his policy star.

It's just another application of the Peter Principle - "In a hierarchy, every individual rises to his/her level of incompetence"

But she's a damn fine lap dog... Like all the rest. Well, except for Rove and Cheney - they really should bring in a third person to operate the strings - those 12 hr days must be killing them...
