McCain, true to his reputation as a maverick, has completely overturned the dynamics of the Presidential race.
In a bold and, to many, including most of the MSM, surprising move, John McCain, with exquisite timing has named Sarah Palin, the Republican Governor of Alaska, as his running mate.…

Zedd,
Stop buying your own bullshit.
First of all, this is the kind of experience you'll get from Barry Obama. It's all right here in plain English for you all to see. The stupid prick played politics in his daddy's native Kenya, favoring Daddy's Luo tribe and fucking things up royally there.
Then there are his plans to keep America strong.
Finally, though, this is how I view the SOB:
This is the point where you are supposed to read that you should vote for John McCain because he does love the Jews for real, right? Well, guess what, folks? McCain has Jim (fu-k the Jews) Baker whispering sweet somethings into his ear about this neck of the woods, particularly Israel. So McCain is no better than Obama.
If Obama wins the American election, though, he will be just what the doctor ordered for those of us who want to rid Israel of American puppets who ruin our lives threaten our security and ultimately endanger the Jewish entity that has finally arisen here after two thousand years of exile and persecution by foreigners.
McCain will glad hand and lie through his teeth - just like Obama did to AIPAC - and Israelis will believe him. He'll be able to carry the lie off a lot better. By contrast, Obama will be the personification of the anti-Israel and anti-Jewish policy of America's oil and banking establishment. And military reservists, the backbone of Israeli society, whose lives are endangered every time the IDF throws them into foolish assaults in Gaza, and misuses them in military offensives in Lebanon, while Israeli government power-holders hide in bunkers, will finally become disgusted with the thieves and incompetents who ruin their lives.
And they will finally do what is necessary to break the yoke of oppression on our necks, so that we can build our homeland in dignity, and with G-d's help, peace.
So, I'm not condemning Obama at all. I'll be voting for the guy. He is, ironically, "the great black hope".
Now if some of us can reach somebody like Sarah Palin and undo the damage of Jim "fuck the Jews" Baker and his ilk does to the McCain campaign, I'll be rooting for the
piece of shithonorable senator from Illinois.77 - Ruvy

Zedd,
What you Americans need is precisely a gun-toting leader WHO IS NOT AFRAID TO LAUNCH NUKES IN A WAR to face down a veteran of the Spetsnaz and the KGB. You haven't got a clue as to what y'all are facing in Vladimir Putin.

Ruvy,
I don't do too well with profanity. It's a personal weakness, I admit. I can't focus when the dialogue involves full blown cussin. I do enjoy a good tete-a-tete but really Ruvy!!
80 - Zedd
Hope I fixed that...
Ruvy everyone should be afraid of ANYONE who is not afraid to use nukes.

Sounds like a hell of an idea. More nukes. Hell, I don't need a world for my potential kids to grow up in, I'd rather have a reckless but ballsy cowboy in office down South so that I can leave the world in good ol' wasteland shape. But at least America would be "strong." It may not have any legs left and it may have left us all dead or with three testicles, but at least they'd have proven they weren't pussies.
Ruvy, thank G-d your paranoid and idiotic ramblings are confined to cyberspace along with the other crazies. Your way of viewing the world frightens me more than any Russian threat ever could and your conception of reality is even nuttier than your theology.
But shit, whatever works.

Just talked to my daughter who lives in small town Peoria, Il and a 90-year-old white man told her "this was the craziest race he had ever seen!"
My daughter (she's a walking crystal ball) told an old woman "McCain is going to pick a woman." The day before it was announced. The woman too thought that this was crazy, no way he will pick a woman.
The reason this is crazy quilt is because as the constitution states the VP choice should be the one who gets the second largest number of votes or who has at least been a part of the panel on the debates and run for office.
At least Obama picked one of the candidates for prez. What McCain did is a disgrace. And it goes with a flash I had last year when I saw the VP pick with the GOP was going to be someone from left field. And that the top would also be unexpected.
If this had been Obama/Clinton (dream ticket) and McCain/Romney or Romney/McCain (good solid ticket) then we Dems would be shaking in our boots.
Because it would be a squeaker. Now I think the landslide will be a mudslide, but we WILL prevail.

Ruvy, your ugly comment about Obama is why you are in Israel and not in America! Israel is your karma--get over it!

Just a little help.... What does Palin know about dealing with inner city issues?
Apparently, Michelle Malkin's comments explain something about Obama's "community organizing" experience. Someone like Palin would at least want an investigation to see where all that money that could feed poor people is going. If her record of fighting corruption in Alaska is any indication, hundreds of poverty pimps across America would find themselves shut down.
I think you would agree that your country could do without pimps of all kinds - including poverty pimps - wouldn't you agree, Zedd?

your ugly comment about Obama is why you are in Israel and not in America! Israel is your karma....
Heloise, I've made no ugly comments. I've told the ugly truth. And sometimes, the truth hurts. Obama is surrounded by so much Jew-hating shit that the stink reaches all the way over here to the mountains of Samaria! And he likes that that way!
The usual jew-boy traitors, like millionaire Haim Saban, are coming out of the woodwork to aid the ass-hole. Peace Now and all of Shimon Peres' front groups are not far behind.
So, Obama is surrounded by Jew-haters and jew-traitors. What is so neat about all this is that when these Jew-haters and jew-traitors try to shove their "peace vomit" down the prime minister's throat, and the prime minister dutifully swallows it, thousands of Israelis will rise up in anger and overthrow the régime here.
That's why I support Obama.
The problem with McCain is that he supports the same "kill-Israel" policies that Obama does - that's what Jim Baker and his ilk are all about - but McCain could sugar it up so that the Israeli public would think it was good for them. And unless she can be convinced to do otherwise, Sarah Palin could sell McCain's poison apple even better than McCain could. A hot babe is still a hot babe. Rice, bitch that she is, still had Sharon drooling over her legs, and wrapped the prick Olmert around her ugly finger in no time.
But an Arab terror state in our midst is still an Arab terror state in our midst, and all the sugar coating in the world will not make the Arabs' bullets, bombs or missiles taste any better.
That's also the ugly truth.
And Heloise, as for karma, your country's government has generated an awful lot of it lately and payment is coming due.
You've been warned, sweetie....

"Just a little help.... What does Palin know about dealing with inner city issues?
Dunno-that they're mostly the fault of Inner City politics? What in hell does Obama know about rural issues? (trick question-he knows what his contributors from the Sierra Club, Greenpeace, and Earth First! tell him.)
How many times has Obama negotiated with a foreign government (Palin negotiated a pipeline contract with Canada) for anything tangible?
What about Fisherman's issues? does Obama know anything about that? or issues pertaining to people who don't live off the state? How 'bout small business issues, Zedd? Does Obama know what impacts the livelihood of small businesses (Outside the south side of Chicago)? How many people in Obama's circle have been "Street level" during a Labour dispute? (not the Union Pros, many of whom never worked a day outside the office)?
Howsabout Land-Use, Water Rights, Mineral rights, and other issues that are important to people who don't live in a human hive, and don't want to?
What in Obama's resume' shows he knows a god-damned thing about how people live outside of the Beltway and Chicago?
For that matter, with four years in the Senate, Obama sure hasn't done much besides run for the white-house. Palin, with two years as governor, has done a HELL of a lot more, with more positive impacts, and unlike SOME governors, she's vetoed anti-gay-marraige bills she would have supported, were they not unconstitutional. She's effectively neutered both sides of the "Evolution/Creation" argument by stating that Debate is good. (and, in science, It IS good. when an assertion goes unchallenged too long, it becomes dogmatic. Dogma is BAD.)
What's Obama Done?? DOING is impressive, talking and writing isn't-there's a thousand talkers for every doer.

Kind of late to the party, but here goes...
I have been apathetic as hell about politicians of either party for years (after being stung by buying into the whole "Man From Hope" thing) and I am invigorated and energized by Sarah Palin. A politician who promises to root out and crush corruption, then actually does it? Even within her own party? How freaking awesome is that? It's what politicians always promise but never deliver.
This was a risky choice for McCain and though I despise his illegal immigration policy I have to give him props for making a gutsy choice like this. Come November we'll find out if this was a brilliant political move or a candidate shooting himself in the foot. All I know right now is that so far, I love pretty much everything I've learned about Palin.
I'm actually excited about a candidate. It's a weird feeling. And it's kind of nice.
90 - Clavos
Never too late, Melinda.
Palin's gutsy alright, and her distance from Washington, seen by many as a disadvantage, I see as a big positive in her favor, it means she carries no baggage, no favors owed, no chits to be called on her. A true tabula rasa; no preconceptions, hindrances, or encumbrances.
Exciting? You bet!
She sold the Governor's airplane on eBay! How cool is that?
