Radical American Muslims Exposed by CNN Praise Fort Hood Shooter

Last Thursday an event stunned the nation and shook our military: a soldier fired over 100 rounds of ammunition into a crowd at a Texas Army Base, killing 13 and wounding 30, resulting in the worst military base massacre in U.S. history.

As a nation, including our President, and especially the many families and soldiers directly affected by this dark tragedy, mourns, and as we await the investigation into why Army psychiatrist Major Nidal Malik Hasan held Fort Hood under siege, taking the lives of his fellow officers, concerns about his possible ties to terrorists are rising. Is he a psycho gone mad or a terrorist ready and willing to kill Americans? What we can confirm is that mainstream American Muslim groups across the country have condemned this horrific event, yet, just hours after it occurred, a small group of radical American Muslims called The Brothers of the Revolution Muslim, praised Hasan for his deadly rampage. On their website, describing Hasan as "An Officer and a Gentleman," they announced their love for him, claiming he "was injured while partaking in a preemptive attack", and that they "do NOT denounce his actions."

This shocking story broke as part of an Anderson Cooper 360, CNN Uncovering America report by Drew Griffin, "Homegrown Hate", which gave some insights into this disturbing group. The Revolution Muslim group were brazen enough to place the report on their website, plus a recent forty minute audio broadcast with a very chilling and repulsive response, condemning the report, CNN, Drew Griffin, Anderson Cooper, America in general, as well as rambling on other topics and proclaiming their self-righteousness, yet declaring their hatred.

Highlighted in CNN's report and interviewed are two converts, Yousef Al-Khattab and Younus Abdullah Muhammad, who were both born and raised in the United States, “a country whose way of life they say they hate”. They gather outside New York’s 96th Street Masque, where thousands of Muslims congregate everyday "to praise Allah, give thanks and pray for peace." But unlike the peaceful Muslims inside, these radical American Muslims preach and recruit with a different message: “We tell you Muslims to rise up,” and the words used are chilling, “...the Quran demands that you disavow and make hatred and enmity between democracy, between nationalism, between secularism. And that you see Obama as the enemy he really is. That you see the United States as the enemy it really is.”

Of course, the FBI had the Ft. Hood shooter on their radar and did nothing about him.

Dave, yeah, I just learned that too and it is quite scary!

Let's hope the FBI's radar machine is working!

Muslims who hate America are using this as an opportunity to hate America more, while Americans who hate Muslims are using this as an opportunity to hate Muslims more.

    Not surprising in the least.

This article from LoonWatch.com might prove helpful. It explains how the reaction by the Islamophobes is off-base and how what this guy did was in direct disobedience to Islamic doctrine.

In the end, let's just hope cooler heads prevail here. We can't allow ourselves to become fanatics when fighting fanatics.

Just for clarity's sake, Christine, I'm not saying that your article promotes hate against Muslims in the least.

Good insight, Jordon. Even though I used a lot of adjectives in this article, it was a news not opinion. Pretty difficult to write as I was learning about them...very unsettling. But remember, the shooter, is being considered as part of the radical side not the regular Muslims. There is a distinction between the two as noted in my article.

There is indeed a distinction, but too few people make that distinction as LoonWatch.com demonstrates on a daily basis. It's sad.

Jordan, there isn't just one version of Islam, just as there isn't just one version of Christianity. I wouldn't want to judge all Christians by the behavior of Dominionists, just as I wouldn't want to judge all Muslims by the behavior of Salafis. But the fact remains that there ARE these extremist sects in both religions and they do believe in dominating and destroying other groups and holy war and you can't pretend that these versions of these religions don't exist out of sensitivity to the sane majority.

Ok let me get it out of the way for the PC hacks...not all muslims are radical terrorists.

That being said would anyone really give a damn if the ones in these videos went missing without a trace on some enchanted evening, never to be seen from or heard from again?

    I know I wouldn't.

    Dave?

    Christine?

Arch, this was a very terrifying piece to write and these two well...I just hope our current administration is doing their job! Looks like they missed it with the Ft. Hood shooter.

Christine, I stuck this link to Dr. Phyllis Chesler's article on Obama's reaction to all of this on Heloise's article on the Fort Hood shooting and I'll stick it here as well.

Your president stains you all with his cowardice. He could have bluntly identified the enemy you all face - the Wahhabi savages of Arabia - but he refused to do so. He bowed to the king of the Wahhabis and that should have signified to all of you that the "new boss" was the same as the "old boss" - a kisser of Arab ass. The shit stains his lips as he makes the whole of America look like scared Dhimmis.

When you deal with the Wahhabi, it is a real simple deal. If you do not kill them, they will kill you. There is not room on the earth for the Wahhabi and anyone else - that means the only "good Wahhabi" is a dead Wahhabi. It's either that or off to the purdah for you, Christine.

Sorry for my spelling, I was too busy "fixing" Osama's followers. Didn't have much time to study English. JESUS, BLESS AMERICA.

These people are trained to hate, their train to kill, and accepts nothing less.I clearly feel that certain races/backgrounds should be under different laws + the laws of the United States. It's like life is not worth living due to these types of uncaused for acts. God IS Love, do they not understand what Love really is. They speak of God, but God says you cannot serve 2 masters, so on that note, their not serving the Only True God.

"the worst military base massacre in U.S. history."

Not to diminish the tragedy in any way, but how is this worse than Pearl Harbor?

From a technical standpoint, not sure "A Few Good Men" should be the first thing a reader sees in an article about Muslims praising this murderer.

Dave, what the hell are you on?

Jordan, there isn't just one version of Islam, just as there isn't just one version of Christianity.

    Duh.

But the fact remains that there ARE these extremist sects in both religions and they do believe in dominating and destroying other groups and holy war and you can't pretend that these versions of these religions don't exist out of sensitivity to the sane majority.

    And I've done this where?

You might want to read what I said again. I am not pretending extremists don't exist at all. I said "Let's just hope cooler heads prevail," not "OMG, there's no such thing as a Muslim extremist!!!11"

  • 19 - Jordan Richardson

    Nov 10, 2009 at 8:12 pm

    And let's just be clear:

Dave's bizarre leap in logic that managed to transform my "cooler heads" comment into some ignorant screed about that denied the existence of extremists is the exact reason why I posted what I did.

And his idiotic #15 all but confirms his stupidity and inability to comprehend pleas for compassion and understanding.

    Nov 10, 2009 at 8:18 pm

Arch, it's clear you're upset about the comments by the jackasses on the video and that you wouldn't mind if they wound up "missing without a trace" on some "enchanted evening."

I'm wondering if you feel the same about people who, I dunno, serve as cheerleaders for the assassination or harm of the president or essentially celebrate the passing of Ted Kennedy and other ideological "enemies."

El, oops on the choice of videos. Didn't think that through! Maybe we can change it? Who do I ask? HELP...

And the news was claiming worst..I think they mean within our own and not an attack?

Ruvy, as much as I detest what these radicals are saying and doing and since I am pro-Israel (it all started with Isaac and Ishmael) the statements against Israel makes it all the more disturbing! How do suppose we deal with these hate mongers? Preemptive for words? As far as the military shooter...he should of been fired from the military a long time ago!

    Dave,

Our of sensitivity to the sane minority can we be sure not to pretend that the US Military isn't a terrorist organization?

    From Judaism.

Could it be they are wolves in sheep's clothing?

Great way to incite Americans against Muslims. Pretend to be Muslim, then breathe brimstone and fire against Americans.
