Presidential Election 2004 - Page 9

DON'T WORRY, BE SNARKY.
Ah, the election. While it turned out pretty much as I expected it to, I'm still disappointed in the way it turned out. (At least here in Colorado we were able to prevent that tool Pete Coors from buying his...

Rigging Electronics
Was the election rigged? Well, we will probably never know. The issue we need to address is for our citizens and the media to start a full fledged investigation into how these electronic voting machines work. We need paper trails...

Bush: 'America has spoken'
BOSTON, Massachusetts (CNN) — President Bush declared victory in his race for re-election Wednesday, telling his cheering supporters that "America has spoken." "America has spoken, and I'm humbled by the trust and the confidence of my fellow citizens," Bush said....

"A Covenant With Death and an Agreement With Hell"
William Lloyd Garrison--the guy's still pretty relevant, don't ya think? If more Americans understood that "[their] country is the world", we'd be looking at different headlines today... You don't get to be the superhero and the insular nerd holed...

NBC's Cheap Shot
I am a fan of NBC. This probably stems from our local news affiliate, WGAL, who blows other news stations out of the water. Forget about FOX, who's news cast seems forced and unnatural. In my world it's all about...

Bush and the Supremes!
People are worried about the make up of the Supreme Court. If who the president nominated mattered so much the current make up of the court would be 7-2. A democratic president appointed only 2 of the current Justices. Clinton...

thanks Jason! It's a good way to follow along in chronological order, and with it all in one place you can spot trends and relationships between stories and themes you might not have otherwise noticed

Eric- I'll second the note of thanks, with a special appreciation for a pic of Badnarik that is standard fare rather than one of him blowing his nose or the like. The Nader image is his own, so nobody could get too riled about it, but it looks like a Gary Numan album cover to me.

Who are we to believe on the conditions in Iraq? A man who is risking his life every minute of the day who lives there (Allawi) and is the Prime Minister, or a man running for president that would benefit by worsening conditions(JFK)?

everyone has an angle, including Allawi, but that is not an unresonable question

This is, in fact, a wonderful source for issues, personalities and the important things we need to consider at this time. It has been wonderfully put together and should serve as a model for the future.
