A Few Extra Thoughts on 2004 Elections
I choose to wait a few days before commenting on the 2004 elections. After this, then it is on with the rest of my life. Polling I am not going to dwell on the exit polling fiasco but instead review...

Reforming the Democratic Party
I came into Election Day more confident than I had been than I had been at most points in the campaign. Polls were showing Kerry leads in Florida and Ohio. I'm not going to try to figure out what went...

KERRY'S CATEGORY
Few political analysts were more blistering about the Boy King before and during the 2004 election campaign than Kevin Phillips, the former Republican who identified and crafted the "Southern strategy" back in the late-'60s, which was exploited by Nixon and...

Liberals just wanna be liked
I guess it all comes down to the fact that they don't understand why we don't like people like Michael Moore, Noam Chomsky, and others who attack something so important to us, and something that makes up the fabric of who we are.

Concert Review: R.E.M. at Madison Square Garden, NYC

thanks Jason! It's a good way to follow along in chronological order, and with it all in one place you can spot trends and relationships between stories and themes you might not have otherwise noticed

Eric- I'll second the note of thanks, with a special appreciation for a pic of Badnarik that is standard fare rather than one of him blowing his nose or the like. The Nader image is his own, so nobody could get too riled about it, but it looks like a Gary Numan album cover to me.

Who are we to believe on the conditions in Iraq? A man who is risking his life every minute of the day who lives there (Allawi) and is the Prime Minister, or a man running for president that would benefit by worsening conditions(JFK)?

everyone has an angle, including Allawi, but that is not an unresonable question

This is, in fact, a wonderful source for issues, personalities and the important things we need to consider at this time. It has been wonderfully put together and should serve as a model for the future.
