I'm fully aware that the American public is fed up with hearing about Osama Bin Ladin and his follies. I am too. Even more than that though I'm disgusted and embarrassed as an American that we have been willing to be distracted from this situation for such a long time. I believe that this country is spending more money and time looking for Bigfoot with about the same results. My problem with the government is only exasperated by the citizens who are so easily distracted from this with matters of such importance like who's going to eat live cockroaches while running through a path of vipers over red hot coals.
It's not difficult to move America's focus around the board with a simple pointer. Obviously the powers that be have us tagged 100%. It's pretty obvious why this is; it makes a great sales campaign. If we never get anything, nothing is expected. For the life of me though I can't understand why, after all of this time, Americans haven't reached boiling point yet. We are not a simple people. One can only be distracted from a matter of such importance for a limited time before something blows. I do know that, on the streets, when you're distracted you're being set up for a sucker punch. What we need to focus on is where this punch will come from and what it will deliver.
We are now as this administration would have us. Complacent. What should we be? Overwhelmed with outrage and anger. Look at our invasion! You do remember, don't you? We had no one in custody, nor were we seeking anyone a year after the WTC attacks, so to quell the population we invaded Iraq, which had nothing to do with the attacks. Iraqis did, however, find themselves geographically on the other side of Iran from Afghanistan. Why did we say we attacked? Oil? Oh, That's right, WMDs. An obvious lie but, as long as we're here...
Now we know that Bush has no problem whatsoever lying to this country. I don't know about you but I get really pissed off when I'm lied to. I divorced a woman for it and if I were another type of person I'd have kicked her ass! I don't take liars lightly, no matter what the reason. If they lied in the first place then their excuse is a lie and so is everything else that they say.
I should make it clear that I have no party affiliation. I don't like labels. I believe that there's a power struggle ongoing in this country and it also knows no affiliation. It has nothing to do with Democrats and Republicans or nationalities or people. It has to do with power and money, nothing more, nothing less! The Bin Ladin family is undoubtedly one of the richest, most powerful families on Earth. The Bush family undoubtedly has the aspirations to attain that status. Nothing will stand in the way. It drives me up the wall when people dismiss these ideas as paranoia or fear. How many of you have had these thoughts cross your mind and you push them aside rather than be labeled?

The explanation is it didn't happen. They weren't taken out of the country until after U.S. airspace reopened on September 13.

Keep in mind that there is no conclusive proof that Osama Bin Ladin was actually involved in the WTC attacks, and in fact, gave a message immeadiately following the attacks that he was not involved....
now, this is only interesting because every other time an attack has occured that could possibly benefit him publicly, he has claimed ownership of the attack...
it was only after a "tape" appeared by someone claiming to be Osama and claiming responsibility appeared that fingers started pointing at him, using only the conflicting tape as evidence...however, the person in the tape had aspects of him that went against the information that the FBI had about Osama...
Personally, I have my own opinions about the WTC attacks and who was responsible and if you look at the entire events of the day, it would be incredibly difficult for me to put Osama at the helm of that operation...
anyways, food for discussion...and yes, someone should be held responsible and this entire "fighting for oil" crap is just that, crap...we should be investigating clean energy cars, new technologies, something that doesn't involve American citizens being sent off to die....

Are you kidding? He later admitted involvement in a tape for the U.S., has never denied it since. Not to mention the Kandahar videotape and the testimony of people who were with him on 9/11. There is VASTLY more concrete and conclusive proof that bin Laden was behind the 9/11 attacks than there was that, say, Saddam had WMDs.
