Obama Creates his own Propaganda Department to Counter Unfavorable Stories - Page 2

The only TV news outlet that doesn’t kiss Obama's ass is Fox News. They’re the one renegade in a sea of broadcast media sycophants. He can't control them or the criticism he so richly deserves. Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity in particular rake him over the coals for his fundamental transformation of America into a socialist train wreck. For the past two years, he's blamed Bush for everything, even his own endless screwups, and the Obama media wing dutifully parrots the narrative. The left has a visceral hatred of Fox News, which led one of the distressed whiners to follow Obama's lead and openly declare war on the network. The internet and talk radio are two big areas of opinion, commentary, and most importantly, dissent against Obama's jack-booted hijacking of our Constitution and his unbelievably stupid domestic and foreign policies; a fact which has some leftwing media hacks wrapped around the axle.

Bloggers are absolutely killing the leftwing chokehold on information and providing the average citizen with facts that refute them. The internet has a wide selection of sources and counterpoints to what you see and hear on the MSM. They can't frame the issues to obscure the truth. That’s what really gnaws at these pompous effetes.

President Punchdrunk's policy failures are so bad that even the leftwing media can't sell this crap sandwich anymore; he has to hire a boiler room of militant leftwing demagogues to beat down dissent. Of all the presidents in our history, B. Hussein has to be one of the most thin-skinned. The media elites boosted this narcissistic community organizer into office, and they mean to keep him there for another term.

The least we can do in the meantime is give bootlickers like Jesse all the unfavorable stories he and his boiler room comrades can handle.

    Um, SFC -

    Here's some constructive criticism.

Most of the time (but not all) I do tend to take an accusatory tone when it comes to the Right...but I don't think I've ever used such overwhelmingly inflammatory language as do you. When you shout too loudly, when the words you use are too bitter and mean-spirited - even in the tone and context of your writing - you tend to hear only yourself or those who think only as you do.

For instance, my latest article concerning Ron Paul - for all his failure to think his positions through, I still pointed out some of the positions that he held that make sense to me. I didn't do that to suck up to anyone, but because it's the right thing to do.

Also, I'm not going to pretend I'm a better writer than anyone - frankly, I've got a lot to learn. Your personal writing skill may well be better than mine. But if you want more people to listen to you, then you also have to listen to them. If you want them to give serious consideration to your points, then you have to do the same for them.

But when your language is overwhelmingly inflammatory and accusatory, then people simply won't want to deal with you at all.

Personally, I think you're going to laugh off this entire comment and tell me what a worthless piece of whatever I am, that you don't need any help from anyone...and of course that's your right. I've just done my part in trying to help you out. The rest is up to you.

No, I was not patronizing. I meant every word. I do not patronize because I strongly feel that patronization is nothing more than an insult, and you do know that I really try hard not to insult. I may use sarcasm (with greater or lesser success), but not insults. I meant every word.

No, I was not patronizing. I meant every word. I do not patronize...

    Look up the definition, Glenn.

Whether you intended it or not, you patronized, and you often do.

Ah, but what does Glenn patronize.

    I'm thinking...all-you-can-eat taco bars.

Maybe Jordan, but certainly not seminars on social interaction.

Grrr. You're right and I'm wrong. I had my own personal interpretation of 'patronize' and it was wrong - and I'm not entitled to my own facts. I do appreciate it, Clavos. That's why you're an editor and I'm not.
