I'm no fan of the RC, and I think Ratzinger himself is a conniving maggot, but as far as I've heard, he confines that to more immediate issues, like trying to stem the tide of people leaving the US RS & fending off lawsuits on pedophile priests. I've never heard or read where he's advocated the destruction of Israel. Do you have any references?
I have to agree with the author; Islam has become the religion of perpetual outrage. In any event, it is most definitely NOT the religion of peace muslims claim it is, and I find it laughable that these idiots are out bombing & setting fire to christian churches (most of them not even RC & therefore under control of the pope, anyway) in order to "prove" how peaceful & tolerant Islam is. All I can say is muslims all seem to have their heads up their asses, but considering they are adherents of a barbarian, violent religion, what else can we expect? And yes, I've read the Qu'ran - AND the hadith, in addition to commentaries (by muslims) on both, so I'm probably more familiar with the texts than most muslims, who seem to be illiterate.
