Another set of suicide bombers attempted to disrupt the London transportation system during today's lunch rush - three bombs at tube stations and one on a bus - as reported by The London Telegraph. These four would-be suicide bombers appear to have used similar bombs to the previous attacks, possibly from the same workshop, but all of these bombs were defective and while the detonators went off they did not trigger the main explosives and no bystanders were killed or injured. One of the bombers seems to have been wounded by the detonator explosion.
London and Londoners are nothing if not resilient. The tube stations where the bombing attempts took place were open again in time for the afternoon rush hour. Police were able to gather a great deal of physical evidence from the abandonned, unexploded bombs.
This new attack comes as more and more specific evidence relating to the previous bomb attacks is coming to light. British police have identified Haroon Rashid Aswat as the mastermind who planned the bombings and gave the bombers their orders in person in England (Salt Lake City Tribune). He is an associate of one-armed terrorist leader Abu Hamza Al-Masri who is awaiting trial in London over his role in the Richard Reid shoe bombing attempt and wanted in the United States for his role in recruiting and training terrorists in Afghanistan. Al-Masri is associated with Al Qaeda, but these attacks may be a specific response to his upcoming trial. The investigation has also revealed that Aswat travelled in the United States and may have been involved in planning similar terror operations targeting cities in the Pacific Northwest.
London her people have been through worse and survived, and they will survive this and continue to be an example of strength and resolve for the world.

Terrorism. It falls into a basic fact I have found to be re-inforced all of my life. It's also very simple. It comes down to one word.. IGNORANCE. The knife cuts both ways. Ignorance in the western culture about anything not WASP (white anglo-saxon protestant) ah the '70s.
Back on track. It's also ignorance on the part of many Muslims who (unfortunately) only learn the Koran in their formative years and in many cases taught by radicals who in many cases had the same type of education and upbringing. That's all they know or believe. No matter what they see in later years has no effect.
It's just the demon message of the infidels! Jihad, kill yourself and as many others (guilty or innocent) as possible and you will be in the presence of Allah the moment you detonate.
Yeah, right, tell me that's not IGNORANT!!
Howie Out.

How is this any different from Christians in this country ..mostly Baptists and fundamentalists who are brought up the same way..believing that everything in the bible is true and believe laws should be made in accordance with the bible..although they don't blow them selves up(yet) they have spawned ppl like the Olympic bomber and believe 100 percent that in the second coming they will fly away to heaven ..is this not also ignorance.

There is a huge difference between education in America and in most moslem countries. While there's some social indoctrination in our schools, they basically teach skills equally and prepare people to function in society. In the Madrassas the only education is often just rote memorization of the Koran and chanting anti-American slogans. In many cases they barely learn to read or write. You don't need math, science or literature to strap a bomb on and blow up women and children, and that's the basic job the Madrassas are preparing kids for. Of course the children of the elite in these moslem countries get sent to European private schools for their educations.
