Liberals Gains And Losses, Some Happy, Some Sad

I’m looking at the Liberal roster of controversial candidates who lost today in Ontario, which would make some people in the party happy and I think few of them will not run again or could be replaced under a new leadership.

Sam Boulte
Tony Valeri
Tony Ianno
Richary Mahoney

For all of the above, I’m sad for Richard Mahoney for he truly represented the issues of refugees and new Canadians.

Others who lost:

Judi Longfield- I feel bad for her, but the console is that she lost to a good candidate, Jim Flaherty.

Andy Mitchell- Didn’t know him much, but he lost to Tony Clement someone I have a lost of respect. I’m sure he will well represent the people of Parry Sound -Muskoka.

Gary Carr- Halton. I wish Gary could have pulled this, toobad to lose a great Liberal.

Susan Whelan- Essex. Many hoped she will win this riding back, but too bad for her.

More to come…
