Kennedy Says Iraq War Fuels Terrorism

This, the image of the US occupation in Iraq so far. The image shocked the world, and no doubt fuelled hatred against our so called "civilised societies." There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that the crimes that have been committed in Afghanistan, Iraq and Guantanamo make more people want to commit terrorist acts against our "civilised societies."

Charles Kennedy, the Lib Dem leader has so far been reluctant to link Iraq to last Thursday's terror attacks in London, but has said that the illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq does fuel terrorism, as this piece from The Guardian reports:

Reiterating his calls for a clear timetable for the withdrawal of British troops - "going hand in hand with political progress" - Mr Kennedy insisted that "the status quo is not a credible option".
