Tens of thousands have been killed in Iraq, countless homes have been destroyed, and lives ruined, Iraq's infrastructure is crumbling, Iraqis have been abused and tortured, and in some cases raped and murdered. Of course Iraq is a bigger disaster than "9/11", and the Bush regime are the cause of that disaster. So, when do Iraqis get to create their terrorist list? The Mirror has this report:
A DESPERATE President Bush has asked America to stay solid over Iraq - yet again linking the conflict there to al-Qaeda and September 11.He is like a sheriff in a spaghetti western blindly pursuing the "bad guys" while unable to understand what is really going on in Baghdad.

Headlne was "woah" The post was neeeh."
There isn't much to the post. Had it been backed up with more there would have been something for others to talk about.

What is there to comment on? There are about three sentences, two of which make no sense and one of which is just remarkably stupid.
>>Iraqis have been abused and tortured, and in some cases raped and murdered. <<
Yes, by Saddam and now by terrorists. This is what we're fighting to stop, doh.

Gee, Voice. Imagine for a moment that this is Baghdad in August 2000. You write a story calling Saddam a Spaghetti Western Sheriff. Dude, you wouldn't have been alive to write the drivel above. You'd have been drawn and quartered and fed to the ravens. We're there. We own it. Now let's do something to fix it instead of whining.

Blindingly stupid would be an apt description of the post.
Iraq isn't the utopia that many would require before killing their own "Iraq is a disaster" meme, but it's a damn site better off than it was. And improving. But there is a retort, and by a suprising source CNN.

Perhaps marriages are up since Uday is dead now and won't be stopping by to rape the brides anymore.
As for the satellite dishes, one of the ironies is that even though electric production is up substantially in the last month, the proliferation of satellite dishes and other new electronic gadgets has reportedly increased demand by 60% over the demand before the war so now entirely new electric production plants need to be built to meet the new demand.

Silas, If you'd been in your Baghdad home with your family when an American cruise missile hit it you'd be dead now.
If any of your family survived they'd be seeking revenge.

Valery, please take me to your pharmacologist. The point I made about being dead in Baghdad has nothing to do with what you're saying. Sure, if I was the victim of an American cruise missle in the privacy of my home on Ali Babba Boulevard, Baghdad, my family would seek revenge. That's what it's all about. So, what am I missing here?

"increased demand by 60% over the demand before the war so now entirely new electric production plants need to be built to meet the new demand."
The irony is the leftist appeasment monkey's all know that fact also. But it never stops them from spewing their "Bush can't improve the electricity supply" meme.

I daresay that Pres. Bush has a much fuller picture of what is going on in Iraq than anyone on this forum, unlees you get a comprehensive a daily briefing from the CIA and the DOD as he does.

"dare say" two words, oops.

If Uday had raped my mother and sister while security police dragged my dad away to be tortured, I'd be seeking revenge too, but not on the Americans.
