Or at least a belief in Hell does. This brainstorm comes from a report by the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, which concludes that those countries with a strong view of Hell are "less corrupt and more prosperous" than other countries.
Here's another gem of wisdom from the report..."all else being equal, the more religious a country, the less corruption it will have and the higher its per capita income will be."
