Being involved with political groups of a Libertarian persuasion, I get on the mailing lists of all sorts of well-meaning, but somewhat loony people on both the right and left of the political spectrum - and sometimes those two extremes are hard to tell apart. One of the things which is high on their list of concerns is the impending surrender of the sovereignty of the United States under the authority of a new continental government sometimes referred to as the 'North American Union'. I get a different email warning about it every few days.…

    Hey, now.

Them's fightin' words, Colin me hearty.

I think Bobby's a decent wordsmith in his own right.

Gives good guitar and mouth harp, too.

Can't sing worth a shit, though...

Good Cod, Colin, I can't believe I'm herring you say this. There's a time and a plaice you know. You'd better have some rock solid evidence, or Christopher Roes will be onto you. He's probably online right now, so I'd get my skates on if I were you. Upon my sole...

Oh I am very much here, however I am waiting to see if anyone has anything interesting to say, aside from the great wit that I have seen displayed here today, thus far, I have not seen anything worthwhile to comment on. As far at the New World Otter, it is clever, it reminds me of how some of the German writers probably wrote about the third reich as it was descending upon them. Enjoy!

This whole thread is getting exceedingly fishy.

Cod you gents clean it up a little? Just for the halibut?

Or has this turned into a transcontinental/transatlantic grouper grope, with everyone just sailing into it like so many wahoos?

I think I'll just let you blokes flounder on your own.

    I'm otter here.

I think it's a bit tasteless to compare a couple of jokes about an evil riverside mamal with the most evil regime in history Pablo! But there you go.

I'm a massive Bobby D fan Clav, I just get pissed off cos I've got an Uncle Dylan (pron Dullan)... He is indeed a poet of the first water sir. And I otter that profoundly!

Doc, that's the finest line of fish puns e'er - and here we are carping on about a load of pollacks when we reely should be doing salmon about what this otter will mackerel of our world!

In all honesty Pablo and curious I'm pretty open to conspiracy theories - hell, everything's a conspiracy to some extent, cabinets meet in private, Gov't papers are hidden for years even in our most democratic countries, but I do dislike the YOU FOOLS, SITTING ON YOUR BEANBAGS EATING YOUR BEANS WHILE THE BEAN MOVER MOVES THEM BY NIGHT!
