allow me to point out that in many instances of Jewish history, the folks were having a hard time...
enslavement to Pharoah...occupation by Rome, to name just two of them
in each case...a "Messiah" was prophesied.. to deliver the people and bring about "the end of the world"
according to some, 2 came... Moshe(Moses) and Yeshua (Jesus..or possibly John the Baptist)
now.. there are others in Jewish history who were thought to fit the bill, and were believed to be engendering the "end of the world" so that Peace could reign, one notable warlord even won many battles and was just about proclaimed.... then he converted to Islam, and the Jews erased him from their History

the "World" won't end for billions of years, until the sun goes nova
