Double Standard Part 5: Evidence Of Even More MSM Bias - Page 2

Adkins lived with his mother and father. He was 29, but his family says he was mentally disabled and has the mental capacity of a 12-year-old. He didn't drive, and walked wherever he went.

"He needs to be behind bars. I'll never see my brother again," says Adkins' sister Marina Reyes. "If he felt that my brother was threatening him, he could have easily just rolled up the window and called the cops." She continued, "So he's saying self defense, then where's the weapon? Where's the pipe? They didn't find anything on my brother."

My questions are: (1) Where are the New Black Panther Party, the Congressional Black Caucus, Spike Lee, Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton on this one? Is not Adkins dead? Was he not shot? (2) Where is the MSM on this one? Where is NBC? (3) Does Adkins' mental capacity enter into this situation? Why have Jackson and Sharpton not questioned what angry words a mentally disabled Hispanic could say?

Can I conclude that since the crime committed was "black-on-white Hispanic" rather than "white Hispanic-on-black," the New Black Panther Party, the Congressional Black Caucus, Spike Lee, Jackson, Sharpton, MSM, and NBC will not find this interesting and ignore it? Please cite sources of evidence of New Black Panther Party, the Congressional Black Caucus, Spike Lee, Jackson, Sharpton, MSM, or NBC interest.

In both cases, the best course would be to show patience, to carefully examine ALL evidence available. Is that what happened in Sanford, FL? Noo. The MSM has again embarrassed itself, and the black activist leadership, in and out of government, has demagogued the Martin case while ignoring the Adkins case, alienated the country, and set back racial relations for some time. And Obama weighed in on the Martin case in an utterly incoherent fashion. Would Obama's other son look like Adkins?

But that's just my opinion.

Warren, do you think anyone cares what Spike Lee, NBC, or the others have to say? I'm not sure anyone does.

    June 12, 1852,

    My Dear Mrs. Beatty,
I regret to inform you that we again will not be able to promote young Warren to the sixth grade due to the poor grades he has scored on the homework he has been turning in. We lament this as it is the third year in a row, but we feel that the integrity of our school curriculum and reputation for educational excellence must come ahead of how much we’ve come to know and love dear Warren.

We have done as much as we can for your child and it is the staff consensus that, sadly we no longer try.

Our staff has suggested you try any one of several special-needs facilities in the area equipped with the psychological and emotional support you son so obviously requires. Unfortunately our school lacks such support needs, however we stand by here at your beckon call should any questions arise.

Perhaps a nearby local trade school in the area where he could learn to make rebel flags for sale, or perhaps a facility that cuts holes in white sheets as Halloween and parade costumes. I understand a factory will be opening soon where discarded tar products are converted into children’s toys will soon be opening in the area.

As always, we share your repeated concerns for your special son's needs.

    Yours in Christ,
    Walnut Grove Parochial School

Re: comment # 1, Baroius, I agree with you. However, the MSM and "Justice Brothers" and Spike Lee and CBC and NBPP pick and choose what incidences to pursue. Hypocricy? And all they do is make a fool of themselves.

Re: comment # 3, Jet, still at it, I see. Can you offer ANY refutation of what I said in the article? You claim to be, after all, "the research department." Or is this going to be yet another comment you ignore since you cannot/will not specifically address the issue?

    Warren -

You DO realize, of course, that NBC unceremoniously fired the guy who edited the Zimmerman tape, right? Oh? You mean Fox News didn't tell you that?

Oh, I forgot - Fox News has the duty to tell you whatever will make you hate lib'ruls and to NOT tell you when we hold our own accountable. AND Fox News is mandated to tell you when Matt Drudge and Andrew Breitbart (when he was alive) broadcast videos and audios by James O'Keefe about shocking liberal scandals (and how people were quickly fired because of them), and to NOT tell you that O'Keefe's audios and videos were much more maliciously and deliberately edited than the NBC recordings ever were.

Just keep watching that Fox News so you can be convinced of just how evilevilevil those lib'ruls are, and whatever you do, DON'T check to see if Fox News is giving you the whole story, even though so very often they don't.

Sorry kid, you're no longer worth bothering with-you refuse to see anyone else's point of view by your own narrow worldview.

I listen to all points of view and make an informed decision... I'm a liberal. You listen to only one and everyone else's is wrong unless they agree with you.

Conversation with someone who only uses the mouthpiece on his phone and not the earpiece is useless and a waste of time.

You and Baronius make a cute couple

Re: comment # 5, Glenn, you say, "You DO realize, of course, that NBC unceremoniously fired the guy who edited the Zimmerman tape, right?" Yes. So? Does him getting fired in any way justify his actions?

    Re: comment # 6, Jet, as expected, a cop-out.

    Warren -

Incredible - the guy was fired, which obviously sends out a hard message to his fellow employees about what will happen if they do the same thing...and that means NOTHING to you. I guess that's why it doesn't matter to you about the almost-daily obfuscations and manipulations by Fox News (as shown in the link I provided you), because holding someone accountable for what they do wrong makes no sense to you.

    And Warren,

here's a PRIME EXAMPLE of that MSM bias you're describing.

Q.E.D.!!! Warren, Magnificent. Bravo! A staggeringly nuanced rebuttal. Kudos.

Glenn, I'm afraid you've been mated by Warren's brilliant reinterpretation of Wittgenstein's solipsistic statement "If a lion could speak English, we wouldn't understand him."

Warren, you have forwarded a truly impermeable argument.

Fox News has the duty to tell you whatever will make you hate lib'ruls...

Actually, FOXNews, like all commercial media, ONLY "has a duty" to make money for its owners; and since its principal owner, Rupert Murdoch, is particularly adept at identifying and exploiting the most lucrative media markets, FOX makes beaucoup money for its owners, as do almost all of Murdoch's holdings.

A liberal such as FD citing Wittgenstein? What's this world coming to?

  • 13 - Keith Barnes

    Apr 21, 2012 at 1:53 pm

Actually Roger I can think of two Wittgenstein quotes just off the top of my head that apply to Warren

"A man will be imprisoned in a room with a door that's unlocked and opens inwards; as long as it does not occur to him to pull rather than push."

    and

"A serious and good philosophical work could be written consisting entirely of jokes."

Well if we're going to go that far, why not throw Winston Churchill into the mix with, "A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject."

Except that letting fly off the battle is good advice not only for Warren but his mortal opponents.

Nah, good ol Witt summed Warren up with "Knowledge is in the end based on acknowledgement." Until he learns to do that he'll forever be ignorant.

Oh Ho! I shall call your raise sir, and up the pot with Edward G. Bulwer-Lytton

  • 19 - Kyle Hunter

Of course Warren has no idea what or whom we're talking about, so he won't respond in kind, but instead will favour us with something ignorant of whether we are staying on topic or not.

    Which goes without saying.
