But one thing Libby asserts is that he released Miller's confidentiality “just the way he did” with others. He is trying to tell Miller she is in the same class as the other reporters (wink, wink) --i.e., he did not leak the information to her.
Secondly the Why? It should go without saying. Why did Libby tell Miller why? It is an obvious attempt to guide her testimony. He tells her the why --it is because the clear public record shows he did not leak to anyone else, and since she is in the same class as everyone else, he didn't leak to her either (wink, wink).
What this leaves out of course is that Rove will be left out to dry. He may even be enticing her to lie and claim it was Karl Rove, instead of him. But if Miller testifies like Libby wants her too, he will be in the clear. And since the aspens, turn in clusters, because their (neo-con) roots connect them. She can come back to work as the chief propagandist for the Bush administration, and even help them build the case for an invasion of Iran.
Since all neo-cons are connected by their roots and grow in clusters, why pull the roots out of two neo-cons, when you can pull the roots out of only one (Karl Rove) and overall still have a healthier forest of (neo-cons) aspens.
Unfortunately for Libby, it appears Miller told the truth to the Grand Jury and uprooted yet another neo-con in this ongoing investigation.

I was unable to get the URL Rick lists above, but the big thing that is missing in your post is common sense. Libby is unlikely to send Miller anything that stupidly written, and it would serve no purpose if he did. You're reading too many dime-store comic books.

It's hard for me to believe that Paul Wolfowitz's name has been left out of all of the talk about this Bush administration lying to the American people about their reasons for going to war (lies). Wolfowitz ( Now head of the World Bank) is clearly mixed up in the lies and deceptions within the Bush administarion and there is no closer friend to Irving Lewis "Scooter" Libby than Paul Wolfowitz.
How soon we forget! I wish that someone would mention Wolfowitz's role in all that has happened in this case that we have been reading about regarding the leaking of the name of a covert CIA agent ( Valerie Plame).
