"I like Bush because he's decisive, even when he's wrong..."
John Doe >> American Voter.

kAble..And so it came to pass...
In the year of our Neo-con Lord, 2004...

The New World Order: Act II...
>> Patriotism, Faith and the Truth of Consequence >>

Damn...
I feel so warm and fuzzy right now...
Slipping into the hysteria...
Into the muffled beats of the War-Drums...
Into the Star & Stripe ether of a 'Safe Embrace...'

All unite...
Ease the polarity of your delusions...
Tis the "Season of Hope..."
Upon us...

A democratic fucking paradise lovingly tended by family, faith and a million-or-so-Jesus freaks...
godammit vOya...
What the hell happened?

vOyA > It's the 21st century nuclear expLosion....
where everything seems to be disintegrating....

Logic....
Reason....
Morality....

You know....
the fundamentals of our very seLves....
The very core of our Humanity....

And so....
the legend of Ohio is born....
the swing-state of 2004....
the crucial key to our future....
so damn mired in the past....
I mean....
70% of you who bothered to vote....
who were able to vote....
using Ye Olde punch-card system!

What the fuck is that?

People of the "Greatest Democracy On Planet Earth...."
surely you would expect the best technology....
the best Standardized System
to ensure the most Democratic process of all....
[You know.... VOTING....]
was protected against....
ahh....
corruption.

Pssst....
Don't you know....
if the FBI's computer system wasn't so grossly outdated....
well, maybe....
all that intelligence might have made some sense....
might have averted YOU KNOW WHAT....

Mmm....
EVERY VOTE COUNTS....
Are you sure about that?

[Whispers]

Your Master is whipping Liberty's ass....
Can't you hear Her screams?

"As a country we had more fear than faith in our own ideals on Tuesday."
- Al Deluca, American Voter.

KABLE "Greatest Democracy on Planet Earth..."
Yes...
Three cheers...
Democracy = dictatorship...
Democracy = embracing difference...

Yes...
Three cheers...
For a nation-in-denial...
Blind-sided by a situation-of-thy-own-making...
Polarized and crippled by fear...

dear Mr President...
All charisma, cockiness...
and...
well...
decisiveness...
You mention a "fair and proper election in Iraq..."
Surely you jest, Sir...
Kinda ironic don't you think...?

Hmmm. How did the "FBI's" computer system become outdated? Did Bush do that in his first few months in office? That would have been a pretty impressive feat. Do you think that the problem COULD have something to do with the slug who was president for the previous eight years? You know, when all our intel was cut to hell. You may want to think about that when referring to YOU KNOW WHAT.

    Actually Komoto....
I was referring to America's history of not utilizing the latest technology in key information-gathering areas...

    >> ie intelligence, voting etc etc....

    So....
I was not blaming a specific administration as you implied....

That the Bush "Season of Hope" man has given the FBI et al a technological overhauL is a very good thing....

but I do wonder why a standardized voting system wasn't introduced before this latest election....

    Surely it's crossed your mind....
    even once....

I bet, the money I spent is worth it. I do agree that a part of the movie(wolves) is ridiculous. But then since there is no 100% man and woman, it doesn't make any difference with the movie. After watching the movie, I thought it to myself that what if there would be such tragic thing in our life, what if you were one among the people, what would you do then? In this movie, be it environmental, political or social....the visual and sound effects are speechless.
