Condi + Hilly = π

Call me a dork [ed. note Frankie Muniz] but I hate poor math in the media, like this poll in the New York Post:

Most American voters now say there's no way they'd vote for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton if she runs for president in 2008 — while just 16 percent are firmly in her camp, a stunning new poll shows.

The Gallup/CNN poll found that 51 percent say they definitely won't vote for Clinton (D-N.Y.) in 2008, another 32 percent might consider it, and only 16 percent vow to back her.

Okay, but what the data actually says is that Democrats (65%) won't vote for Condi Rice and Republicans (89%) would rather have a gay MD abort their first born before voting for Clinton. And that makes sense because Democrats are cool with black women but not so much if they're down with the GOP and well, Republicans don't like lesbians.

Another way of looking at it is this: 19% of Republicans and 50% of Independents will not vote for Rice, and 20% of Democrats and 41% of Independents won't vote for Clinton. Call me crazy [ed. note Halle Berry] but it sounds like Ms. Clinton has the most votes to gain in this match-up. Either way, a stunner it is not.

Also, if you're going to do a poll that's going to get this many press mentions, at least poll likely voters. Please.

Anyway, run, Hillary, run ... Come on Condi ... and yes, Viva la Bush ... can't wait until 2008.
