God, where is mediamatters.org when you need them. I went to the sites "cited" by Drudge, and found that -- taken in context -- Cindy Sheehan hadn't said anything near as loony as he and Bachman would like us to believe. The words "occupied New Orleans" were unfortunate, but they referred to this sentiment, which is by no means all that radical:

Do you know what's odd about this piece?
It reads like a backwards argument to bringing troops within the Katrina footprint.
Thesis: The response is too slow. Where is the military? Why aren't the troops here yet? What's that matter with Bush, the troops are not here with supplies and transportation or protection! We need the governments help!

Sounds like a propaganda ploy to legitimize federal intervention, without consent. How? By providing the dialectic countering the federal response to Katrina through sub-conscious suggestion that we shouldn’t have troops there to begin with.
Why? Because there may be ulterior motives at work.
Sheehan is either ate up with despair, or a careful plant by the CIA to thwart anti-war initiatives within our borders.

And where does she drop into? The Algiers section of New Orleans. One of the least affected sections of the city. In fact it along with the French Quarter have been opened to residents and business owners.
Yet this pontificating buffoon states, "He stayed in the French Quarter and a Ward that weren't even damaged a bit," in describing Bush's last visit to the city.

Question, why didn't Sheehan drop into the devestated areas in Mississippi?

A neighbour of mine and me drove all the way upto Mississippi with a truck load of Goods to help the people. It was the troops that helped us Distribute the food and water. Not the members of Camp Casey.
I didn't see any camp casey members around there , where the effect was worst.
But Cindy wants to pull the troops out of OCCUPIED NEW ORLEANS. I know why, because she and her ass wipes
