This is one of the reasons (not the only one of course, don't forget all the WMDs) that we had to go to war with Iraq. But recent evidence has found long time connections between Saddam Hussein and Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld! War with these two 'bad guys' must be imminent with this kind of justification.
It turns out the Donald Rumsfeld had personal meetings with Saddam Hussein AFTER he had gassed his own people, including a chummy handshake source . With this kind of evidence of long time relationships with associates of terrorist, war is fully justified against the Rumsfeld-Cheney ‘Axis of Evil’. For that matter, George Bush has long time ties to Saudi Arabia where most of the 9-11 terrorists came from, and the Bin Laden family itself. Where will the trail of war targets end?
