Last night President Bush gave his fifth State of the Union Address to Congress and the nation at a time of low poll numbers, concerns over energy and health care costs, the war in Iraq, the continued threat of terror, Iranian nuclear saber rattling, and a gay cowboy movie with eight Oscar nominations.
The White House titled the president's speech as "A Strong America Leading the World" - please see their official characterization and explanation below.
