Ann Coulter-Gate And The Fall Of The Democratic Party - Comments Page 2

While the Democratic party smells opportunity in Coulter's new book, everyone else is smelling the stink of the Democratic party.

The reviews are in for Ann Coulter’s new book, Godless: The Church of Liberalism, and apparently officials from the Democratic party are not too impressed:
"Perhaps her book should have been called 'Heartless’...[It’s] unimaginable that anyone in the public eye could launch a vicious, mean-spirited attack on people whom I've known over the last four and a half years to be concerned deeply about the safety and security of our country." US Senator Hillary Clinton (D- NY).…

I have many friends both republican and democrat and the one of thing that scares me most about this whole thing is when people say that Ann is right. People are a reflexing of who they are and what has happened to them. If I understand correctly people are sick of people who use personal tragedy to advance political ideas. Come on get real it happens all the time since the beginning of this country maybe even the world. Do you want to argue wether this is right or wrong ? Ann has every right to her opinions and as a Democrats I defend her freedom of speech. With that said I don't believe people should shut off their brains when they hear something like this. If someone can please give me a good reason why people have to shut off their lives before making a political statement please explain. I like the argument better when its explain that she is the rights answer to Michael Moore. Both of them have their opinions and use selective facts to prove points. The right and the left are bitching at each other and both sides are guilty. Remember Terri Schiavo. I followed that case and can see similar things in her case. I only say this because 100's of people in her situation each year end their lives without any uproar or concern from Washington. As a Democrats I believe that most people, left or right, don't feel the same way as Ann does. As I have found out from reading some of these blogs that their are some people that do. I do wish that the Republicans would adopt her as their spokes person because I think people will ultimately reject this argument and it will help the Democrates.

Ann Coulter is an attention grabbing nut. Case closed.

What I find actually disturbing is the tendency for writers, bloggers, and editorialists to add fuel to the fire that is the polarization of America. So a democrat says something silly, oh oh oh it is a sure sign of how the democratic party is disconnected from reality. Yeah, because we all know that all liberals are really just one hive mind without sigular opinions. Just like all republicans are war mongers and psycho christians.
    GET REAL MAN!
Only the media profits from reducing all individuals to one political party vs another.
Ann Coulter (and Dr. Politico for that matter) is just another example of the loud mouths on the extreme ends of the spectrum drowning out the moderate majority in the middle. The only entity that profits from this madness is the media itself.

"who said you can't roger? hmm

    them

    i'm pointing to my left..."

just for once it would be nice if you had some facts rather than just typing words to make your point. Who on the left said you couldn't criticize the 9/11 widows? Give me one example over the years where someone on the left said that. Just one is all I ask.

Everyone on the right is agreeing, yet why is this the first time someone has said anything about it? People are criticizing Broomstick Arms for her personal attacks not her criticisms.

I agree with Ann on this. These women are chosen by liberals and the left wing media because they espouse the views that are consistent with the agenda. Their victim status supposedly gives them credibility.

It might be interesting to hear from the other two-thousand nine hundred and ninety-six widowed spouses what they think of gay marriage. But we don't. Not because conservatives aren't willing to stoop to the level of exploiting victim/shills, but because Vanity Fair magazine is politically biased.

Of course Ann revels in being irreverent to the sort of propaganda that is being foisted. That's why she's hated. And why she's loved.

I share her disgust. When I see the carefully crafted, sullen, glamour shots of the four millionaire opportunists, I'm sickened. I pray that my wife would never use my murder for any political purpose. For either side. It's just really bad form.
