This week gives you the chance to play as a hair covered female giant in Bayonetta...nuff said!

PlayStation Network Update: 12/03/2009

Wow what a week on the PSN!  Look everyone a new Qore episode! Don't stare, move on please, let it die in peace. As nearly everyone but me is in the throes of Modern Warfare 2 mania most people probably won't care but Call of Duty Classic has released this week.  Those that had too much money in their hands and got the Hardened Edition of MW2 already have it as a download voucher.  If there are people out there that do want the original, you can pay the too high price of 15 dollars on the first Call of Duty this week.

The big news this week is that we have a Bayonetta demo. While It is nice to see Bayonetta, it is odd that it is an early exclusive demo on PS3 when the game was not even ported by the main developer to the PS3. Sega ported it and there have been less then flattering remarks on its performance.

Some new PSOne classics are available, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis being the winner on the list for sure. On top of the aforementioned Bayonetta demo there is also a demo for the intriguing FairlyTale Fights game. Remember there is a very controversial trophy in this game, sure to help it sell some copies!

Not sure why but there is a plethora of Fight Night Round 4 DLC, some of it looks good, but a wee overpriced in this humble writers opinion. I do hate LittleBigPlanet costume DLC, but the Assassins Creed II one just looks so good. Unbelievably there is also some free Tekken 6 DLC as well, the free part is what I can't understand, I appreciate it, but so odd from that company.

The PSP has some new games, they are not called Minis but they are small and cheap (except for the big and not so cheap one) like Minis. The only one that appeals to me is Beta Bloc simply for this line – 'Prepare your paddle for brick-breaking RPG action'. Sign me up please!

Plenty of videos, some wallpaper and of course Guitar Hero and Rock Band tracks (more Nirvana on Rock Band FTW!). For more details, please visit the official PlayStation Blog.

'Risen 3: Titan Lords' is a flawed, but deep pirate-themed, action roleplaying game. While the new Enhanced Edition's release lacked much fanfare, it is a significant upgrade. Unfortunately, the game still lacks the polish required for wider appeal.
