Touch the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 demo and pata-pata-pon again on your PSP!

PlayStation Network Update: 04/30/2009

You've got the Touch! You've got the Power! This week the big huge entry on a fairly robust update is the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 demo. This timed exclusive demo gives us a taste of the VERY highly anticipated release has everyone excited and I am sure it will climb to the most downloaded spot on the PSN very quickly.

That is not all this week, we have two high profile updates to successful games. The first is the Cops and Robbers pack for Burnout Paradise. This pack adds '33 New Cop Vehicles inspired by Police Forces from around the world – past, present and future' as well as a Cop and Robbers online mode. In this mode you are tasked with either stealing or recovering gold around the city. The other entry is the map pack for Killzone 2 – Steel & Titanium. This pack adds two new maps, some new game play elements and should excite the hardcore Killzone fans out there.

That was the good DLC, now what would an update be without some crappy EA cheat code DLC, LittleBigPlanet 'packs' or yet more Disgaea 3 add-ons? Well surprise, surprise, we have some elite cars you can purchase in Need for Speed Undercover as well as (shock) a free challenge pack. There are also a number of new Disgaea 3 character and game play packs. These are joined by a PSP specific pack for Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero?

Of course there are the Rock Band (Janes Addiction!) and Guitar Hero (Nirvana!?) packs as well as videos and themes to fill up your hard drive with. The other nice update is the Patapon 2 demo for the PSP available on both the PS3 and PSP storefront.

'Risen 3: Titan Lords' is a flawed, but deep pirate-themed, action roleplaying game. While the new Enhanced Edition's release lacked much fanfare, it is a significant upgrade. Unfortunately, the game still lacks the polish required for wider appeal.
