Big week with many demos, full games and add-ons for us PS3 faithful to enjoy!

PlayStation Network Update: 03/12/2009

Big, huge update this week with full games, add-ons and demos for all to enjoy. The big draw this week is the arcade shooter Red Baron Arcade. Priced very nicely at $9.99, this game looks like a lot of fun and a great addition to the PlayStation Store.

We also see BUZZ! Junior: Jungle Party, a stand-alone Buzz! game designed for younger audiences. Astro Tripper is a game out of nowhere that channels the look and feel of Gradius and R-Type.

Qore returns this week looking at Riddick and Burnout Paradise among other games. Annual subscribers will receive a voucher for High Velocity Bowling, if you can bear to get the magazine all year.

Many add-ons to choose from this week, none of which are free unfortunately. Sackboy joins Hot Shots, Burnout gets super boosts, Street Fighters get new costumes and dinosaurs join the Buzz! lineup. Rock Band and Guitar Hero see new songs from The Offspring and Rise Against respectively.

We have four demos to get excited about this week!  Red Baron Arcade gives you a taste of the new arcade title and you can try on some spandex with the WWE Legends of Wrestlemania demo. It is double Diesel month with demos for the anticipated The Chronicles of Riddick re-make and enhancement as well as a demo for the Wheelman.

Lots of themes and videos to look at this week, too. Some of the themes are free, others are more of the boring 'premium' University themes that keep getting uploaded. There is some PSP content with a Resistance Retribution demo and some downloadable games.

Overall a really great week for PS3 owners, lots to try and buy which is always a good thing. Below is a list of all the items added to this week's PSN update. For more details, please visit the official PlayStation Blog.
