The Stop Badware Coalition

Researchers from Oxford University’s Internet Institute and Harvard University’s Berkham Center for Internet and Society have started a program to involve web users in publicly naming and shaming companies that use spyware, adware and other deceptive software. The project will be mainly educational and is backed by Google Inc., Lenovo Group and Sun Microsystems Inc.

Foo Fighters to tour acoustically

The Foo Fighters have announced that they will be touring in support of the acoustic side of their double album In Your Honor. No dates have been confirmed. They will be bringing along pianst Rami Jaffee, violinist Petra Haden, and percussionist Drew Hester.

The NSA offers editing tips
