Before President Barack Hussein Obama, US presidents (except, perhaps, for Jimmy Carter) understood that the world’s maniacal leaders do indeed mean us harm and require a different type of communication; one that, as President Theodore Roosevelt said, perhaps may involve not only speaking softly, but also carrying a big stick. But Obama is obsessed with diplomacy, the UN, and leading from behind, none of which have proven useful in dealing with the world’s tyrannies and hostile regimes. How many failures must the world endure before Obama realizes that what he is doing just doesn’t work?

“There are certain things that just don’t work and what they are doing doesn’t work,” said Obama on March 25, 2012, when he viewed North Korea. “It is like you are in a time warp. It is like you are looking across 50 years into a country that has missed 40 years or 50 years of progress.” Is that Obama’s view of the future of the US?

Obama has proven ignorant of history and world affairs, and has focused on himself and his own world views. He is completely disinterested in what the majority of Americans want for the future of the country. Obama is living in an ivory tower in which he has absolutely no conception of what is taking place in many parts of the world. If his ideas work inside the vacuum of an Ivy League classroom, they must lead to the idealism envisioned by Obama. Besides being clueless on international affairs, he remains steadfast on domestic policies as well, even though they, too, don’t work.

Let me be specific about Obama’s world view:

  • Instead of condemning communism itself, the ideology behind North Korea’s poverty and tyranny, Obama criticized the management of North Korea. Communists worldwide have always complained that communism itself is workable, but that problems with the implementation of the ideology have prevented it from being successful. North Korean communism has been working well for the family that has been suppressing freedom and human rights for decades while it pursues nuclear weapons with which it threatens the world. In Obama’s view, what is not working is not communism, but North Korea’s improper application of communist principles.
  • Muslims hate us because of George W. Bush, but a self-proclaimed grandiose speech by Obama in Cairo, Egypt, made them like us.
  • Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the mullahs in Iran wish to build a nuclear weapon because of American aggression, but a sit-down with Obama will quickly end that threat.
  • The Israelis and Palestinians have been incapable of reaching a peace agreement for the past sixty years, but Obama will force an agreement down the Israelis’ throats, while ignoring Palestinian intransigence and violence.
  • Obama has spent the past three years helping to build fundamental Islamic dictatorships across the Middle East and Northern Africa.
  • Obama “reset” relations with Russia while undermining relations with Eastern European countries.
  • Obama gave our and Great Britain’s submarine-based missile secrets to Russia.
  • The Muslim Brotherhood is moderate: Tunisia and Morocco, Turkey and Egypt are all headed in the right direction due to US foreign policy, even as they march toward Islamic supremacy.
  • Ahmadinejad can be reasoned with, while Netanyahu must suffer the reprisals of protecting the Jewish democratic homeland.
  • Turkey’s Islamist prime minister is a great source of advice on how to raise your daughters.
  • Getting caught whispering to the Russian president to subtly reassure Vladimir Putin that Obama will pass along US missile defense secrets once unburdened with an upcoming election is simply a step toward resolving “incredibly complicated issues.”

Obama has shown a complete disconnect from the reality of communism, and an indifference to our values of self-determination and respect. And that disconnect is spreading into the Muslim world.

Were Obama a rational individual rather than a narcissistic ideologue, he might actually invoke effective foreign policy in order to safeguard US interests and human rights abroad. But, no. He, instead, apologizes for US actions. I guess Obama doesn’t think we have interests abroad. And he thinks that all humans have rights worldwide. Isn’t it ironic that “rights” are so important in this country.

Can anyone cite even one situation in which Obama has stuck his nose that has made the US and the world safer? But wait. Kool-Aid drinkers will say that reducing our nuclear arsenal and giving secrets to Russia will make the world safer. I have to ask, “What good is a safer world if the US is subjugated to Russia? Do you really think Russia will have our best interests at heart, will protect our human rights?”

But that’s just my opinion.

Leading from behind was useful in Libya so I stopped reading at that point.

His name is Hussien. I stopped trusting him after that.

Good thing you weren’t around in the 1950s when America elected a president with a German name 7 years after fighting them in a World War.

“Can anyone cite even one situation in which Obama has stuck his nose that has made the US and the world safer?”

    Offing bin Laden?

Too bad it isn’t still the 50’s when a person couldn’t use Photoshop to forge a legal birth certificate.

  • American

Doc. Do you really believe Obama killed Osama?

  • http://www.squidoo.com/lensmasters/IanMayfield Dr Hussein Dreadful

That’s not what Warren asked, American.

Too bad it isn’t still the 50’s when a person couldn’t use Photoshop to forge a legal birth certificate.

Or use the Internet to spread stupid rumours.

  • American

Using the internet to spread stupid rumors? The internet is where Obama posted this fraudelent document for us to observe. Quickly being noticed that it had been altered, I think it was two days later that he killed Osama and destroyed the evidence of it. No proof of the death of the man who hid from the CIA for 10years on dialasis as the worlds most wanted man. The outspoken enemy of America who had nothing to say in the last six years. Yeah right. The birth cert. was found,& he killed the boogeyman. What a good week for Barry. Hurray for ADD.

Since the “birther” nonsense has been debunked over and over again, and since nothing short of a video of Obama’s birth with Diamond Head visible through the window in the background will satisfy these people, I don’t propose to enter into what would pass for a debate on that topic.

Regarding bin Laden, I have to go out but will respond later.

  • Glenn Contrarian

    Warren’s First Rule:

Everything Obama does or has ever done or ever will do is wrong.

    Warren’s Second Rule:

If Obama does anything right, see Warren’s First Rule.

    =============================

Instead of condemning communism itself, the ideology behind North Korea’s poverty and tyranny, Obama criticized the management of North Korea.

Yes, communism can never work…which is why China – the world’s most populous capitalist nation – is kicking our ass economically. Warren, I don’t like communism either, okay? But you don’t go ticking off those who (thanks to YOUR boy Dubya) hold so much of our treasury bonds. Oh, but I get it – it doesn’t matter WHY Obama does what he does. All that matters is that he was the one who did it, and that makes it wrong.

Muslims hate us because of George W. Bush, but a self-proclaimed grandiose speech by Obama in Cairo, Egypt, made them like us.

Gee, do you think that over 100,000 innocent men, women, and children dead because of an illegal invasion based on faulty intelligence that we KNEW was flawed might have something to do with them hating us? If they killed 100,000 of us, would we hate them? Oh, but I FORGOT – we can kill them all day long, but it’s THEIR fault for not loving us!!!!

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the mullahs in Iran wish to build a nuclear weapon because of American aggression, but a sit-down with Obama will quickly end that threat.

And this shows how IGNORANT you are of the Middle East, Warren. SHI’A Iran wants nukes NOT because of Israel, and NOT because of America, but because of nuclear-armed SUNNI Pakistan. WE, sir, are the EXCUSE. Pakistan is the REASON.

The Israelis and Palestinians have been incapable of reaching a peace agreement for the past sixty years, but Obama will force an agreement down the Israelis’ throats, while ignoring Palestinian intransigence and violence.

Riiiiiiight. Those peaceful Israelis are SO kind and generous that the following items REMAIN BANNED from importation into the Gaza Strip: A4 paper, crayons, stationary, soccer balls, and musical instruments have been, at times, banned for import. According to AFP other banned goods include toilet paper, though the BBC lists it as permitted. According to the Haaretz the following items were banned in 2009: books, candles, crayons, clothing, cups, cutlery, crockery, electric appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines, glasses, light bulbs, matches, musical instruments, needles, sheets, blankets, shoes, mattresses, spare machine and car parts, and threads.

BUT IT’S THE FAULT OF THE PALESTINIANS FOR NOT LOVING THE KIND AND GENEROUS ISRAELI PEOPLE!!!!

Obama has spent the past three years helping to build fundamental Islamic dictatorships across the Middle East and Northern Africa.

Oh? And your proof is…what, exactly? You wouldn’t be pulling wild accusations out of your keister, would you? Nah, you wouldn’t do that, now would you?

Obama “reset” relations with Russia while undermining relations with Eastern European countries.

Yeah, Obama must be some kind of communist for not driving us back into a Cold War with Russia!

Obama gave our and Great Britain’s submarine-based missile secrets to Russia.

And if you had a clue about prevention of nuclear war, you’d know that in order to know that a launch by us – and NOT by some rogue nation like North Korea – depends on the infrared profile of the booster stage. THAT, Warren, is how a missile is identified…and that’s how Russia would know that – should NK ever, say, build a crude boomer with the subs they already have and send it out to where our boomers are known to patrol and launch a nuke towards Russia, instead of launching a massive retaliatory strike against America, the Russians would know that it wasn’t our nuke.

This is called FORETHOUGHT, Warren, and it’s why our military – and especially the admirals in the Silent Service in MY Navy – aren’t raising hell, because they UNDERSTAND the need for Russia to know that it’s NOT US that launched a missile.

Oh, but I get it – it doesn’t matter WHY Obama does what he does. All that matters is that he was the one who did it, and that makes it wrong.

The Muslim Brotherhood is moderate: Tunisia and Morocco, Turkey and Egypt are all headed in the right direction due to US foreign policy, even as they march toward Islamic supremacy.

Yes, can’t we all see the millions of Islamic terrorists waiting just across the Mexican border for the signal to come take over America and install Sharia law? WAIT, Warren – there’s one RIGHT OUTSIDE YOUR WINDOW!!!! Didja see him? Better go get your gun – you know, the one that Obama already confiscated?

Ahmadinejad can be reasoned with, while Netanyahu must suffer the reprisals of protecting the Jewish democratic homeland.

If you had a clue about Iran, you’d know that Ahmedinejad – as loony as he is – is (1) NOT the one really in charge, and (2) is actually rather moderate than the one who IS much more fundamentalist, hardline, and militant: Ayatollah Khamenei, who, as of the elections this past March 2nd, is more firmly in power than ever before.

Turkey’s Islamist prime minister is a great source of advice on how to raise your daughters.

Turkey – the ONLY Islamic nation with a secular tradition, the ONLY Islamic nation that is a member of NATO, the ONLY Islamic nation that was cooperative with us in the Cold War by allowing us to build radar stations and airstrips in their nation…but since Obama’s even talking with them, that means they must be EVILEVILEVILEVIL!!!!!!

Getting caught whispering to the Russian president to subtly reassure Vladimir Putin that Obama will pass along US missile defense secrets once unburdened with an upcoming election is simply a step toward resolving “incredibly complicated issues.”

He SAID, Warren, that he’d have more flexibility …and even if he was talking about nuclear power, see the education I gave you above concerning WHY it is important for Russia to be able to quickly discern OUR missiles from North Korea’s missiles.

Warren, you are so consumed with hate for the black guy in the White House – it’s all you write about, all you seem to think about. You really need to get a life beyond the claptrap that Fox News spoon-feeds you every day.

  • Kyle Hussein Hunter

Do you get the feeling that Warren and “American” are related-or maybe one and the same?

  • Igor

I think that ‘American’ has found the fatal flaw in Obamas birth certificate! While there’s an entry for “Mother” and one for “Father”, there’s none for “Owner”!

  • American

Kyle, Dubya and his daddy are nearly cogs in the same machine as the acting puppet. As Igor stated, a check of those men’s records would show the same name on the space omitted from Barry’s forgery. All you partisan siding gang members, are playing right along with the great divide game that creates the confusion and veil of freedom needed to keep most ignorant to the fact that behind both parties is a controlling force driving the US in the same direction no matter who it appears we have chosen as captain.

  • Zingzing

And who or what might this “force” be? Gotten that far into your theory? If you say “the Jews,” so help me gad…

  • Kyle Hunter

In his case it’s paranoia Zingzing

  • American

Not at all ZingZang. If that were the case, I could not explain Hussein’s shunning of the Israeli people and his eagerness to unseat only the most non religious leaders in the middle east, leaving power to be seized by the most violent Islamic radical groups in the region.
And who is the gad you mentioned before you trailed off?

And Kyle, you got me wrong again. Or perhaps I becoming paranoid.

  • American

Label me what you want, although I will not fit into any of your stereotypical profiles of conspiracy theorist nutjobs that people love to categorize any freethinker who presents an idea too abstract for them to think about. I am talking about truly possible scenarios that if even somewhat close to reality, scare many. Very likely situations far beyond your control, that if are found true, would leave many people to doubt everything they have been holding onto as there beliefs and identities. I understand your reasons for writing off the words of someone who doesn’t believe that any of these polititions give a fuck about anything but money and power. And that the hearts if men can be so cold that certain acts seem unthinkable to the common family man with kids he loves and would like to see grow and live a beautiful prosperous life as American citizens continue to have a say in their government ,

  • Zingzing

So you distrust politicians. All fine and good, but what’s this force you speak of?

  • Glenn Contrarian

    “American”

I put your name in quotes because I see no indication that you’ve earned that particular privilege.

Now, since you’re all over Obama (since you seem to be unable to use those letters in that particular order) about being so very mean and unfair to Israel, perhaps you’d care to explain the list of items in #11 that Israel won’t allow to be brought into the Gaza Strip? Hm?

  • American

Gary, if I had to deal with neighbors who kept coming to the rec center with bombs strapped to themselves blowing the place up while kids are playing, and I had the power to deny them anything, my choice would probably be food and water. Salentra? What’s that?

  • American

Solyndra, Beacon Power, Ener1. Tell me this man should be left in power considering the state of our economy. And I don’t care whose fault it is that its in this condition. I just want to know why he should be trusted with the money if this is what he’s done with it.

  • Keith Barnes

I got confused by the most recent articles on this string, so I read the article and now I’m even more confused.

    Warren doesn’t make sense
    American makes even less sense
Are Kyle and the Doctor Arabs?

  • http://www.squidoo.com/lensmasters/IanMayfield Dr Hussein Dreadful

No, Keith. I can’t speak for Kyle, but my adopted middle name is a reference to Warren’s insistence on using Obama’s in every article he writes.

  • Keith Barnes

That’s the first thing I noticed when reading them, and I figured the middle names were sarcasm until American began being profane at them, then it wasn’t clear if he was aiming at you, Kyle or Obama.

I think I read on another string that America and Warren were the same person, which got me even more confused, or was that conjecture on someone’s part?

  • http://www.squidoo.com/lensmasters/IanMayfield Dr Dreadful

zing: All fine and good, but what’s this force you speak of?

The force is what gives Obama his power. It is an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us, penetrates us, and binds the galaxy together.

  • Keith Barnes

You don’t need to check those droids Doctor, Pres. Obama did already.

  • Keith Barnes

The easiest way to feel old is for one of your kids to ask you “Who is Luke Skywalker?”

  • Glenn Contrarian

    “American”

Solyndra, Beacon Power, Ener1. Tell me this man should be left in power considering the state of our economy. And I don’t care whose fault it is that its in this condition. I just want to know why he should be trusted with the money if this is what he’s done with it.

Back in my Naval career I learned that one of the best ways to judge someone’s quality is to see what kind of watchstander they were. If a man leaves the condition of his watchstation in better shape than he found it, then he’s good. If he leaves it in worse shape than he found it, then he’s not good.

By that measure, Clinton was very good, Bush was terrible, and Obama’s pretty doggone good.

Not that you’re able to see the improvements he’s made, like getting us out of the Great Recession, out of Iraq, soon to be out of Afghanistan, did NOT take us into Iran or Libya like a lot of conservatives wanted, and killing Osama bin Laden and most of al-Qaeda’s leadership (none of which Bush was able to do)….

Yeah, I know, Solyndra – which you obviously don’t know the real story about – overshadows ALL of that…but as for myself, I think that gettin us out of the worst economic time since the Great Recession and getting us out of one (illegal) war and on the way out of another war AND getting most of al-Qaeda’s leadership is worth a heck of a lot more than Solyndra.

Not that any of that makes a difference to you, of course.

  • http://www.squidoo.com/lensmasters/IanMayfield Dr Hussein Dreadful

Good morning, American (if you’re still loitering). Here’s my response to your bin Laden remarks.

Quickly being noticed that it had been altered, I think it was two days later that he killed Osama

I would have thought that over the course of the previous 3-4 years of conspiracy theories about the Certificate of Live Birth, he would have been well aware that producing the actual long form certificate would not silence some of them. And if the rumours (and frivolous lawsuits) regarding his birth were that unsettling and he needed a diversion, why wasn’t bin Laden’s death “conveniently” announced some time in those past 3 years?

No proof of the death of the man who hid from the CIA for 10years on dialasis as the worlds most wanted man.

There’s DNA evidence, photos and other stuff. There’s also a 100% certainty that if they were released, some people would immediately declare them to be fake. So what would be the point?

The outspoken enemy of America who had nothing to say in the last six years

Numerous audio and video recordings of bin Laden appeared between 2006 and 2011. The authenticity of some of them is unverified, but the volume of them seems actually to have been greater in that period than between 2001 and 2005.

As far as the “suspicious” burial at sea is concerned, it was an odd decision but the White House has given a rationale for it that makes sense. As a Muslim his body needed to be buried within 24 hours, no Islamic country could be found that would accept him for burial, and if it were known where he was buried it would be likely to become a pilgrimage site.

In Islamic tradition, burial on land is very strongly preferred but burial at sea – contrary to the pronouncements of some imams – is not prohibited if there is no other reasonable alternative. This source is from an Islamic law website. In particular, I draw attention to rules 623 and 624.

Frankly, he’s lucky we gave his corpse that much consideration.

  • Kyle Hussein Solyndra-Hunter

My good doctor, DNA can be faked, and anyone who considers Science a mere theory wouldn’t accept your explanation.

Warren didn’t see the body with his own eyes and even if he did, he would claim it was an optical illusion created by Hussein’s henchmen to back up his lie.

There is no reasoning with Warren, so why try?

  • http://www.squidoo.com/lensmasters/IanMayfield Dr Hussein Dreadful

Kyle, it’s very unlikely that Warren and “American” are the same person. They’re not posting from the same IP address, for one thing. (I’m one of the comments editors, so I know about this stuff.)

  • Kyle Hussein Solyndra-Hunter

It was just a theory Doctor based on the fact that Warren appears nowhere defending his own hideous article, but “American” seems to be using the same identical rhetoric.

  • Kyle Hussein Solyndra-Hunter

My wife just asked me if this is my “maiden name” lol

  • Costello

Kyle, what’s there to defend? The writer is a political hack who cares nothing about the facts because he’s to busy slinging mud. The editor doesn’t care because he knows such drivel increases traffic as people argue

  • http://www.squidoo.com/lensmasters/IanMayfield Dr Hussein Dreadful

Warren usually does respond to comments on his articles, Kyle, but he tends to wait a few days and then take them in batches.

The similarity of outlook between him and “American” can be easily explained by groupthink.

  • Keith Barnes Hussein

I wss just on your home page. This guy seems to be taking over your politics section. Do the higher-ups here know about and endorse this guy?

  • http://rwno.limewebs.com Warren Beatty

Re: comments # 11 and # 29, Glenn, I ask again, “Are you for real, or just here for humorous purposes?” What you offer as analysis is both funny and disconnected from reality.

Re: comment # 28, Keith, you are soooooooooooooooo correct.

Re: comment # 35, OK, Costello, you say, “…who cares nothing about the facts….” Point out (specifically, please) the facts about which I care nothing.

  • Glenn Contrarian

    Warren –

Since I’m so ‘disconnected from reality’, tell us:

Was the American economy better or worse off in January, 2001 than it was in January, 1993?

Was the American economy better or worse off in January, 2009 than it was in January, 2001?

Is the American economy better or worse off TODAY than it was in January, 2009?

I really, really want to see your answers to these questions!

  • Igor

Solyndra was a $500million drop in the bucket: we give 10 times that amount to (60% foreign owned) oil companies every year.

  • Zingzing

Whomever wins the mega millions will pay at least half of that back. And if no one wins it this week, solyndra will be paid for next week or the next. Perspective! It’s a thing.

  • Clavos

I put your name in quotes because I see no indication that you’ve earned that particular privilege.

Hardly a “privilege,” nothing but pure luck in where or to whom you’re born; even if they (your parents) are illegal, if you’re born here, you’re a citizen. With the right (American) parents, you don’t even have to be born here.

    “privilege?”

  • Glenn Contrarian

    Yes, privilege.

Privileges aren’t necessarily earned, either. I’m reminded of this particular privilege every time I go to a foreign country and I don’t have to apply for a visa beforehand.

  • Clavos

    You’re easily bought, Glenn.

  • Glenn Contrarian

    Clavos –

No, I’d say I’m more grateful for what I have. I strongly believe that the more grateful a person is for what he has (even if it isn’t much), the happier that person will be – and if the pursuit of happiness is as important as the Declaration of Independence says it is, then it behooves me to find things to be grateful for, does it not? That’s why I could never allow myself to be too much of a cynic – I’d rather be happy idiot than a miserable savant.

So I’m grateful for many, many things – and I’m pretty happy too. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.
