Obama “Remarkably Out of His Depth”

Ya think???

The Telegraph published an op-ed piece that reflects the disenchantment with Obamessiah. His approval ratings have plummeted to 41%, and according to the polls, only 28% of his bots “would definitely vote for him” in 2012.  Here’s the money quote in the article: “…the Obama presidency is looking remarkably out of its depth in the face of a massive deficit crisis which it simply refuses to confront… Barack Obama remains wedded to outdated Big Government, high tax solutions to economic problems, but the American people are clearly not impressed.”

“Out of his depth?” How can that be? Isn’t he supposed to be the smartest guy in the room? Obamessiah was The Chosen One. The One We’ve Been Waiting For. The world’s president.

Mr. Hopey-Changey was supposed to “fundamentally transform” the U.S. from an heretofore “Boosh dictatorship” to a Shangri-La filled with unicorns and skittles. He was gonna pay off their mortgage, buy their gas, and spring for their next bottle of Hennessy.

Socialism doesn’t work. It’s diametrically opposed to every founding principle of our democratic republic. It oppresses basic freedoms, stifles entrepreneurship, and forces entire populations into shared government-imposed misery. No one can be more successful than others because it would disrupt the concept of wealth redistribution. In other words, take from those who earn and give to those who don’t.

Obama’s failed policies are equally shared by his Dem pals and his czars.

The Dems took advantage of his White House occupancy, combined with their control of both houses of Congress, and proceeded to engage in an unprecedented big government power grab. They spent the first 22 months of their monopoly using taxpayer money to fund their socialist pet projects, including ObamaCare.

One of the reasons gas prices are so high (besides speculators) is Obama’s refusal to drill for our own oil resources while vilifying the petroleum companies as ”big, evil, greedy creatures destroying the planet”. But by gawd, he’ll lend Brazil $2 billion to drill their own.

His cabinet is stuffed with Marxists and Islamists who harbor a visceral hatred of America and capitalism. Obama’s science “czar” wants to “de-develop” the United States into a banana republic. His regulatory czar wants to limit free speech and individual liberty. His manufacturing czar thinks that “the free market is nonsense ” and “agrees with Mao, that power comes largely from the barrel of a gun”. The assistant secretary for the Office of Policy Development at the Department of Homeland Security, is a Muslim extremist who was instrumental in removing the plan to track Muslim terrorists in LA. A member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council is also a Muslim extremist who calls Islamic jihadists heroes and opposes referring to Hamas as a terrorist organization.  They want to systematically destroy this country because the thought of American exceptionalism is abhorrent to their radical sensibilities.

One year into Obama’s tenure, the MSM started having doubts about his capabilities.  The media hacks propped up this immature, inexperienced, socialist community organizer as if he were the Second Coming of Christ. They can pat themselves on the back for helping to foist this useless waste of skin into office.

Anyone who studied Obama’s personality, Marxist philosophy, and background would have understood that he is totally unfit to lead a democratic republic.

Obama fails to understand the consequences of his “fundamental transformation”. He’s so out of his depth, he’s still in the basement looking for the elevator to the first floor.

About SFC MAC

  • Glenn Contrarian

You know, I think that – this particular comment aside – I’ll refrain from commenting in this person’s articles. SFC’s language makes it obvious that he/she has no interest in discussion or debate, but is so filled with blind hate that he/she would never change his/her mind regardless of how obviously wrong his/her beliefs are.

    Farewell.

Yet another American who wouldn’t recognize actual socialism if it nationalized them.

  • zingzing

there’s a point where blogcritics must come off their “we’ll publish anything!” schtick.

not saying this is it. not saying that.

    fuck.

Out of their depth is a good description of the analysis offered here.

…no really – if Marx were alive today he’d be doing his research through a grant from Goldman Sachs

  • http://thingsalongtheway.blogspot.com/ No It’s Not

Yet another American who wouldn’t recognize actual socialism if it nationalized them.

What I wonder is–doesn’t the author care at all about even appearing credible? Maybe the piece is going for some sort of caricature of the Archie-Bunkeresque ignorance of the patriot.

…the problem is that Americans fail to recognize fascism (pdf) – yes: a warped socialism – which has had its fangs sunk deep into Her ample buttock for decades

SFC MAC is hopeless, but I suppose he’ll attract acolytes of the rightist echo chamber.

“I suppose he’ll attract acolytes of the rightist echo chamber.”

Will he? I would think he even they would be embarrassed by this graduate of the Michael Savage School of Deep Thinking who majored in Writing Cliches. The only positive is he doesn’t blather on for pages like Irv.

There is an editorial prerogative that needs to be asserted with submissions such as this and its author’s previous piece. Not every submission needs to be posted.

You don’t have to read or comment on posts that you don’t like Tommy.

In fact you don’t even have to visit this fucking website if you don’t want to either.

That choice was mine and I stand by it.

    Gentlemen,

I forget my self-important self, from time to time. I forget that I am new to your clique. I apologize for offending you.

Clavos is just a rightist propagandist. Which is why he OKed this clunker in the original:

” One of the reasons gas prices are so high (besides speculators) is Obama’s refusal to drill for our own oil resources while vilifying the petroleum companies as ”big, evil, greedy creatures destroying the planet”.”

As far as I know Obama was in favor of more drilling and quoting that “…evil, greedy…” stuff was just a plain LIE! And Clavos should have known it and barred the article for that reason alone.

Any ordinary citizen would have caught those lies, let alone a guy who pretends to learning as Clavos does. Thus, both SFC and Clavos are merely propagandising the ignorant, which can only further diminish whatever tattered shreds of credibility BlogCritics might have retained.

Either de-power Clavos as editor, or require the editor to co-sign the article so we are alerted to the editors proclivities.

  • Clavos

Clavos is just a rightist propagandist. Which is why he OKed this clunker in the original:

My editorial record stands on its own merits, and any number of left-leaning BC writers will tell you my editing is completely impartial — they have done so already numerous times on these threads.

But you go right ahead and slander all you want.

  • http://www.RoseDigitalMarketing.com Christopher Rose

Boeke, As I have pointed out before, the BC system doesn’t give the editors the option of rejecting an article based on content, so your #16 is simply wrong.

  • Boeke

Clavos has seconded SFC’s lies by passing them. I don’t care about the ghost witnesses he calls to his defense.

  • Boeke

    Then I don’t understand:

Clavos butted in and supported the lie, proactively.

The duplicity is enough to make your head spin.

What’s a poor boy to believe.

    I await your instruction.

  • Costello

Who is the Islamist in his cabinet? A charge like that out to be supported by a name yet the editor didn’t request.

  • Boeke

It’s not slander if it’s the truth. Clavos IS a rightist propagandist (notwithstanding he may have friendly relations with some foolish leftists, not friends of mine: that is simply irrelevant). SFC told a string of lies, even quoted attributions. Clavos postures as a knowledgeable person, so he cannot be unaware that they are lies, yet he doesn’t stiffarm the article, and he even defends it!

The slanderer here is SFC, whose lurid slanders are clear to almost anyone, except possibly a Clavos claiming utter ignorance.

  • http://handyfilm.blogspot.com handyguy

Good grief, Boeke. This article, Clavos’s comments, my comments, yours and most others on here are highly opinionated. There is nothing wrong with that.

Certainly this article is horrendous, and 10 or more people have said so, loudly. We all want Blogcritics to be about the free exchange of ideas. Don’t we?

When Dave Nalle writes a hyperbolic, slanted article, I call him on it, and so do others. Sometimes he goes too far, and I think it does hurt the site. But the answer is to rebut him, not to censor him.

SFC MAC is of another order of grossness entirely. I think we all agree on that, probably even Clavos. He might even say, all the more reason to publish it. Don’t assume that he endorses or agrees with the content.
