NVIDIA, a leader in visual computing technologies, took the stage at this week’s BlogWell Conference, in San Francisco and shared their successes and failures in video making. The company launched two videos; one was a success, the other a failure. They learned a lot in the process and were able to understand the elements that make for a successful video campaign.
NVIDIA’s tips to video making:
- Make a good video, that’s not about marketing
- Make your message easy to understand, and make it short–at 1:30 is when people typically start to click away.
- Keep your topic focused. If you have more than one video, make sure that they are different enough to warrant separate outreach plans.
- Plan early and coordinate your video launch as a multi-team effort.
