Attention my fellow Americans. Degrassi: The Next Generation has a new title sequence, maybe.
American viewers of the hit Canadian school drama (which is a spin-off of the original Degrassi Junior High/High series) looking for a peep into the new sixth season of the show will be able to look at a possible new title sequence on YouTube. It's hard to tell whether this is the official title sequence for the new season as a couple of cast members who weren't included are actually listed as being back for season 6 (The new season begins on The-N channel on September 29).
The cast members that appear to be excluded are Jake Goldsbie (Toby Issacs) and Melissa McIntyre (Ashley Kerwin), even though McIntyre is featured in a storyline involving a romance with Aubery Graham (Jimmy Brooks). Jake Epstein (Craig Manning) will return for a couple of episodes later this in the season. Pat Mastroianni (Joey Jeremiah) and Stacie Mistysyn (Catlin Ryan) may return later in the season for the same amount as they aren't included as regulars either.
Two things are clear though — Adamo Ruggiero (Marco Del Rossi) wants to be there, while Daniel Clark (Sean Cameron) acts as if he'd rather be elsewhere. Sarah Barrable-Tishauer (Liberty Van Zandt) has become one of the sexiest nerds on television this season.
Now let's see if she can get some plots this season.
